Good parma, large and cooked fresh none of that microwaved stuff here. good luscious salad and chips.
The service isn't on point, room for improvement
Price is great and so is the décor really cute spot for a date

A little slow on service, but the meal makes up for it. We tend to go a little earlier to make up for the wait. Its BYO so take a bottle of wine and relax.

My girlfriend and I lobbed in at lunch time without a booking. The restaurant was very busy and we were prepared to be knocked back .Right behind us was a group of seven people without a booking. Yhe one and only waitress consulted the one and only chef and they let us all in.They took the unexpected addition to an already busy lunch time in their stride. We were served in a timely manner and the food was delicious. I had a moroccan chicken and salad. My friend had seafood. There was a wonderful pecan pie for desert, we saw others eating it but resisted with difficulty. The coffee was good too. The ambience is warm and friendly , the prices are reasonable and the menu has variety without being overwhelming. We felt warm and welcome. Will be going there often

We've been to Rose Cottage twice and sent guests there as well. The first time we went was for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely meal.
The food is well presented and tasty, and is very reasonably priced - most mains are around $20 and the most expensive is eye fillet at $25. (As at June 2012)
The last time we went we took friends who eat vegetarian + fish - there were plenty of options including several fish dishes.
We all had a different dessert - all very nice and well presented.
This is a restaurant for a lovely meal - not too fancy, just great food. The wood fire adds to the cottage atmosphere as well.

Approximate cost: $22

Went here for a work function. It was a busy night and I found service to be quite slow. We waited over an hour for our meals. I ordered the chicken parma- it was delicious, a very generous serve with lovely chips and salad.
Parking is a bit interesting here. You pretty much have to park other people in, and if someone who is parked in what's to leave, the staff yell out 'owner of X car, could you please move'
I had to get up in the middle of my meal but I didn't mind. First time I've come across a parking situation like this though!

This place is so so cute, it's a girly little thing. So welcoming and the rest rooms are all done up with vintage things.
The food was very homely cooking. And tasted great
