I've found Roses Only to be over-hyped honestly. While, yes, the flowers are beautiful, sometimes the selections aren't the best and the prices charged are exorbitant! But again, having recently ordered some flowers as a thank you for a friend of mine, the finished product is lovely. While not something you'd want to do on a regular basis unless you had a bottomless bank account, if you want to make a good impression, this is definitely a way to go.

I had roses delivered to my Mum for mother's day. She lives in Ballarat and when I initially tried to order online it did not recognise the suburb in Ballarat. First email to customer service replied that she was out of their network and if I wanted flowers they could arrange however they would not be the roses only brand (why I would have Roses Only organise regular flowers from a local florist is beyond me). I replied and explained that the suburb I wanted delivery too was literally 5 minutes from town (where they do deliver). Second reply confirmed they would deliver to my Mum's house but I would have to purchase over the phone and there would be an additional delivery fee. SO with a suggestion from another family member, I dodged the online form to list the actual suburb on line 2 of the address field and left the suburb field as Ballarat, and wa-la it worked! No extra fee and it was within the network.

I was a bit peeved having researched the roses prior to making this order only to find that all Roses Only orders for the mothers day weekend (Fri - Sun) were limited to a few select choices (I could not pick the colour myself), at a slightly higher cost AND if I wanted them delivered ON mother's day it would be another $20 on top of that. They certainly take advantage of the situation. I'd hate to be buying flowers for someone's birthday who also fell on mother's day weekend. There was no way I was paying the extra delivery charge on top of the already over-priced $95 for 12 roses ($85 with NRMA discount) so I had the flowers delivered on Saturday. They arrived quite late, which they specify on the site they will arrive anytime before 7pm. Which is fine, but in saying so I am glad I sent them a day early - if they arrived that late on mother's day my Mum would have thought we'd forgotten her!! The actual roses and packaging was very impressive, but I would not purchase regularly due to insane price of products and it's a real turn off when companies mess you around on special occasions being that I could not choose the rose colour on mother's day but I could any other time of year.

Not only roses but also many other gorgeous varieties of flowers in bright and colourful arrangements or bouquets. Also available are fruit, cupcakes and champagne. This is an easy and effective way to send a beautiful present to someone special with delivery being quick and easy.

I buy them for my mum becasue they are reliable and the quality is always good and I know that she will get what I order. Also the presentation s very nice so people love to get them. (I got some once and they do make you feel special) They are easy to order via internet and have good specials sometimes. They are WAY overpriced through but for mums nothing is too much.......

I bought a dozen mixed roses for my Mum as a thankyou gift and she was blown away. They were beautiful and lasted a good while. I thought the value was about right for the price considering delivery is included. Would definately use again.

Overpriced, overrated and over packaged! /$70 for 12 roses... requested them to be delivered between 9-4pm during work hours.. delivery was attempted at 630! The person receiving the flowers had gone home for the day and thought I had forgotten the birthday. Thanks Roses Only.

Didnt even get an apology from C/S when I complained. Nothing.

the actual roses were lovely, however i think they are very over priced. the were delivered on time and in a gorgeous box (with small chocolates) which was great. however, considering that the average price you will pay for 12 roses is about $80, i think its a bit much!

The roses delivered were absolutly beautiful, but then they would want to be because they were so very expensive. I called up to change the message in the card and the service was really friendly, even though it was too late and they couldn't do it. But I was horrified when I saw the card - it was scrawled out in the worst handwriting possible. It was so very disappointing.

I too received beautiful roses when my 10 month old baby girl passed away recently. They were purchased from Roses Only and they arrived in a pretty pink ceramic container. I thought this was great as I could plant something in it as a memento for my baby girl. However, when I took out the dead arrangemement of flowers, there was a massive chip in the side. This chip was not caused when we had them as I had left the plastic wrapping around the arrangement & the broken chip was no-where to be found so it was very disappointing to think that a profitable company would use a damaged ceramic container to display their roses & even worse that they would send it to a family grieving for their baby girl. Shame on you Roses Only. I am located in Melton, so that would be the Roses Only store located closest to me.
