Took my dog to their vet for an emergency. Squeezed him in and gave him the necessary medication (he had hives after being stung by a wasp and had an allergic reaction). The whole thing only cost $80! Had paid over $1000 for a vet in blacktown last year after a similar experience. Will definitely be going back!

why buy a new dog or cat or any other animal when so many animals are sitting in here waiting for a new home?they are a big place with loads of different animals to adopt, you can spend time with an animal to see if you both get along.they have a rabbit enclosure and guinea pig enclosure also, there are lots of goats and sheeps and pigs and geese there also.take sometime to think about adopting a pet that is sitting in here locked up ...they need our help.

Took my mother here after she lost her poodle ( from old age ).The staff were wonderful and princess, the small mixed breed she picked has settled in beautifully and made her life joyous again. Don't shop, adopt!

So grateful our search for a new family pet led us to this shelter, would never look at buying a new dog again.
Our family staffy settled right in with our 2 children after being tested by the capable staff at this centre.
He was desexed, microchipped and we were given cream for the flybite he had at the time from the vetinary staff.
Registered upon purchasing it really is a one stop shop for any responsible pet owner and the best thing is they dont stop at dogs .... there are plenty of animals to make any heart flutter :)

I have bought a couple of cats from the RSPCA. On one occassion one became very ill and the RSPCA gave her ongoing medical care at no cost to me. All animals are desexed, have had a health check & are very reasonably priced. These guys do a great job & you will save an animal who otherwise may not make it. Much better then pet shops who are just out for a profit.

Absolutely love this place!! We got our two kittens from here and they were healthy and well looked after, very people friendly. When one of them got sick about 6months later i took them to the VET at the RSPCA and they fixed her right up. We have always bought our animals from RSPCA and never a pet store.

If you love your animals, then you will want to bring them to RSPCA. They have payment plans to suit your budget where as if you go to any other vet, they will show you the door. RSPCA sympathises with you and always kept me updated. The staff were all fantastic.

Approximate cost: $1800

I think RSPCA do a great job with looking after the many animals that are brought in for rehoming. I have bought two cats from them in the past and will buy more animals from them again in future. The vets are also very good with any sick animals I take there to be seen.

We bought our two Border Collie puppies from this RSPCA. We met their 'foster mum' who'd bottle fed the pups from birth, and have kept up a facebook correspondence with her. The de-sexing operation was part of the price. They fund raise constantly so they can rescue more animals.

The staff aren't as friendly and caring as they could be, but having to put down animals so regularly must have toughened them up. I took my cat there and the staff did what they could for him and gave us a great referral to a specialist for his problem. The bill was higher than what my normal vet would charge for the same thing, but they kept him alive so i was happy.

went there for volunteer work. they took my name down 4 years ago and didn't get back to me. They euthanize the animals after 30 days and it is now policy to desex all dogs of both genders. The woman who did my intake was on the ABC show 'the Einstein factor' recently. She is a veterinary nurse. I have now moved on to a different career path because of the lack of volunteer opportunities for non work experience students in the animal care taking field.

You can tell the people who work here are genuinely concerned about the welfare of each animal who enters. We come here for our veterinary checkups. Highly recommend everyone to do this too.

Last year, sometime in September, I did adopt a dog there. At that time, those staffs there gave me a very good impression. This year, I went there again to find a company for my dog, those people there made me a very very good experience. They really care about those animals. They are really nice people.

The RSPCA does a great job at looking after lost, injured or unwanted animals. If you are an animal lover, support them by taking your pets to the vet at the shelter. They offer excellent treatment at average prices. Do your bit.
