Firstly, I only went to rub a dub on 3 occasions because I had a 3x scoopon. ($39 for 3)

Now, if you buy a scoopon, expect your cars rims to still be dirty in all the edges and under the fenders if you have anything more than a plain hub cap.

Underneath the spoiler wasnt cleaned and was still wet.
Mats were dusted but underneath the mats was still some hidden dirty carpet. Boot was barely vacuumed.

Watching the guys wipe down the car with random pieces of cloths is scary. There is no fixed wiping method. The same cloth was used firstly on the door panel, roof, bonnet then windows last. Having washed my own car before this does not make sense to me. The spray on wax that they use either doesnt do anything or they didnt spray it on at all.

Over all my several visits I am now convinced that if you buy a coupon for a wash which isnt a full price service you will get a very bad wash. Other people whom I saw paying for a full price car wash were getting a sparkling shine and proper quality service. Although those who paid full prices still had to spend another 5-10 minutes pointing out the missed spots. At least they got it clean in the end?

Seems like they can deliver a decent service if its full priced and you give them the hawk eye.
My experience however was proven to be far from satisfactory. My only consolation is that they didn't miss the bird droppings.

I bring my vehicle a 4wd , to Rub A Dub Hand Carwash every week . My often filthy car is washed with pride, the wheels in particular always come out shiny. When I have been to the snow or beach the staff take extra care depending on the state of my car. Friends leave crumbs, scuff marks on the seats but these are vacuumed and wiped each time. Sairi the manager is as fussy as though its her own car.Good old fashioned service! I have bought a book of 10 vouchers saving me $100 each buy. Aside from the service the locations are great! I take my car Saturday or Sunday mornings and head to the Prahran market (or Camberwell Market if at Camberwell) and do my fresh food shopping for the week. So convenient!!

I wanted a $35 wash, got up sold to a $49.95 wash which included vacuum, polish & tyre cleaning.
The seats were not vacuumed as there were still crumbs on them. The baby's car seat wasn't touched & that's the crumbiest culprit. The floors were not vacuumed properly in the back & the middle console that was empty still has crumbs in it. The wash was ok, but the tyres were done shabbily & were looking untouched by the next day. The outside wash was fine, but the no vacuum scenario really annoyed me as that's what I see when I'm in the car!
I paid premium & expected a premium clean.
I would definitely use Clearwater Carwash in the future as Rub A Rub was not so much!

Approximate cost: $49.95

Yes must agree...definitely not what I expected...automated car wash wheres the hand wash come in when its on a conveyor belt with the motor running. Bought it as a gift & incurred additional cost to get repairs from the neighboring mechanics due to radiator disintegrating as it went through. Could have washed the car twice myself for the $27 on line deal for a $55 wash ('jump on it').Will check first next time....
