S and A Painting provided great service for our trim replacement and exterior painting projects.  They was very courteous, informative, and timely.

We initially contacted them to have the trim at the front of our house repaired.  Turns out that the dry rot was so bad that all the trim would need to be replaced.  An exact estimate was difficult to obtain because if they found structural damage underneath the trim, it would violate council codes not to repair it.  Contractors showed up on time every day of the 3-5 days to do the job.  They worked quietly without creating any disturbances and were overall extremely well behaved. They use only dulux quality paints and the painting showed why they were Dulux accredited painters.
Since we decided to go with exterior painting as well, there was a slight discount which was appreciated.  That job took a couple days but was delayed a little because of the rain.  We were told that in order to protect the paint its best not to paint when its raining / showering which we thought was fair.  Everything turned out looking really good and the colours spot on.  Communication was clear with any changes and we were contacted by glenn whom was the project manager on a daily basis. For any future projects of mine I will approach only S and A Painting. They are one of the best we had experienced.

I recently had S & A Painting come out to paint my house and I am so IMPRESSED! They were great! I originally only wanted my ceiling painted and their quote was very reasonable.  I was trying to do some touch ups myself on the walls the night before they came out to paint the ceiling, but the paint I was using was a year old and once it was dry, I realized it did not match the walls.

When Glenn came out the next day, I showed him the walls and asked him if there was any way he could help me paint a majority of my house (which had to be done by the next the day).  He said he help us out and do it. I gave him my old cans of paint, and he went to go buy fresh paint the same colours and he went to pick up he's apprentice they worked until 9pm to get the job finished and they did an excellent job! I could not believe how nice the walls and ceiling looked after they were done! They fixed all of the nicks and holes in my walls and ceiling and my place looked like new! 

Glenn and even his apprentice was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Everything was spotless when they finished and their prices were really reasonable for what they did! I felt like they really went above and beyond to help me out with my painting crisis while I was trying to meet a deadline. I have had a ton of work done in my house over the last few years and these guys were the most genuine people I have worked with in a long time! It is really nice to feel like someone is going out of their way to help you out. I will not use anyone else for painting other than these guys and I highly recommend them!

We hired S & A Painting to help us with the kitchen in our new home, which had turquoise laminate countertops, yellowish solid wood cabinets and a full kitchen revamp was out of our budget range.

We had heard of S & A Painting through one of our friends that had their house painted and we heard that they also did full kitchen repainting of solid timber kitchen cabinets.

Without going into too much detail, Glenn came out gave us a heap of options of what we could do to make our old out date kitchen look like new in any colour we wanted. He helped us pick colours, provided samples of how the cabinets would look when finished and was so helpful. One night he was actually at our house till 8pm discussing what we could achieve.

As of the moment the proposal Glenn provided us with is currently out of our current budget range, however we are convinced that when the timing is right we will defiantly go ahead with their proposal to latterly transform our kitchen for 1/4 of the price of a brand new one !

If you want an excellent job for that paint project you need....S & A Painting are the guys! I recently started a project in my 1 bedroom apartment. I decided that I could paint it myself.....after cleaning ALL the walls and ceilings of the hallway, living room and kitchen, I was crippled from pain, exhausted, and running out of the time I took off from work to get the painting done. I quickly realized that I was NOT able to paint my apartment...I needed help. I searched for a good painter and that's when I came across S & A Painting. I took my chances and contacted them and that's a decision that I will never regret. I received a call back from Glenn, of S & A Painting. He was able to come out that same day and provide me an estimate. He was very professional and pleasant. He provided me with a reasonable estimate and told me they could get the job done in 1 day. The crew arrived early the next day as promised. They proceeded to work quickly and efficiently all around my things piled in the middle of the Living Room. They covered everything with plastic and drop cloths to make sure my items were protected. I really appreciated their professional work ethic and their concern for neatness and detail. We are very pleased to have chosen S & A Painting to paint the exterior and interior of our home. We received quotations from three very professional painting companies within the Brisbane area but S & A Painting was the most competitive. Our initial contact was with Glenn who is one of the owners. He was very pleasant and easy going when he came to our house to provide a free quote. We really appreciated his willingness to break down the estimate room by room so we could prioritize the work to be done in order to accommodate our limited budget. We received a detailed estimate which included the front exterior, rear exterior, deck work, patio, dry rot repairs, 4 interior rooms, stairwell, cupboards, etc. He was also helpful in providing professional advice about prioritizing our work. Getting your house painted isn't the kind of thing you do everyday - so we appreciated his patience in explaining the entire process. He prepared a very professional estimate and was very prompt in responding by email and phone. Members of the crew came to our home and met with us several times and were very helpful and patient while discussing color options. I really appreciated being able to e-mail them with all of my questions and reminders as new decisions and details emerged throughout the project. They were also very thoughtful and considerate - letting us know if there were changes in the schedule (due to weather), etc. The final painting job was definitely excellent and beautiful. I would highly recommend S & A Painting to all of my friends and family.

Well if you are looking for great work, high quality paint, and friendly and prompt service then S & A Painting is the right place. They did great job painting my living room and game room. The gloss work was very well done and they did a great job covering up the dark paint that was on the home before. As in their price, more than fair for the quality of work and timing. At the end of the day, you can call and shop around for quotes from other places, but they will give you their honest opinion right up front and what the exact job would entail. After I selected the colour scheme, they used dulux quality paints in a much cheaper rate. I got a 10% discount on the work done because i was will to wait a little while as they were heavily booked. The crew was one of the best crews I have ever seen. They finished the job on time and also cleared after themselves. I didn't have to bother about anything while they were working.

For those who want to paint on their own, don't do it. It's not worth the time and effort and to be honest, painting your place on your own usually turns out like crap. Just my 2 cents, I will be using them again. Remember you get what you pay for, the lowest price is not always the best in the long run, but I find S and A Painting to have the most competitive value for the quality of work.

Our home's exterior was a peeling mess. We live near the coast, and we are guilty of major deferred maintenance on the paint job. It's been 10 years since we last got our queenslander painted, and the blue paint on the south and west sides was flaking and peeling like terrible sunburn on a blue alien. Plus nail rust was oozing down the sides, boards were beginning to pop out. I contacted S & A Painting for the purpose of painting my house. One of the owners, Steve answered the phone, we had a great discussion, and he met with us the next day, and immediately inspired confidence. No hustle, no sales job, just good plain sense, excellent philosophy of true integrity (he really DOES love the painting biz), and a work ethic that was clearly a mile deep. The bid of S & A Painting was very reasonable and competitive. The painters were great. Very polite, very considerate. The crew checked in often, as did Steve. And when we had a question, they were right on it. The place was cleaned up every evening in such a spic and span manner that I wish they were here every night to sweep up around the house! The job is done now. And wow did they do a lot of work! I don't know everything they did, but it was a ton, with sanding and sanding and priming, more sanding and fixing some boards and covering rusting nails with stuff that will help them not rust, and along with great painting. S & A Painting spent a lot of time on our place, and it looks AMAZING!

The S and A Painting crew is amazing! Extremely professional, sincere, honest, talented, and a pleasure to work with. They took on a project no one else would touch because it was too complicated, and has now done several different painting jobs for us. I cannot speak highly enough of this business! Glenn came himself and had a combination of total professionalism and absolute, sincere friendliness that I've never encountered in any contractor/painter/builder/plumber etc. who was not, in fact, already a family friend. I can't say enough good things about the S & A Painting. We hired them to paint the interior of our house after having had a negative experience with the people who painted the exterior of our house. They showed us what it was like to work with service professionals who take pride in every aspect of their work. Our relationship with them started when they provided their quotes on TIME! Glenn showed up on time for our first meeting and he quickly and efficiently worked through the house. He also provided us with a very reasonable estimate the next day. We then began working with Glenn and Steve on our color scheme. They too were on time for every appointment. They answered every question we had for them, they provided thoughtful advice and feedback, and best of all, they patiently helped us arrive at a color scheme that was right for us. The crew coordinated on the job flawlessly. They were always on time for things (it might seem odd that I keep pointing this out, but after having worked with several contractors last year, being on time proved to be the exception rather than the rule). I'm a new landlord and needed to completely paint a unit after the original tenant moved out. After receiving about 4 bids from painters and not being completely satisfied with any of them I found S and A Painting. They were the complete opposite - they replied immediately and Glenn came out quickly to give an estimate with lots of suggestions and comments about what would need to be done.

Glenn was able to give me an accurate price on he's iPad on the spot and was very professional, listing all the nooks and crannies that needed to be fixed, primed, nails removed as well as painted. Theirs was the most detailed estimate by far, and an affordable price too. 

They were very patient as I dithered around for a couple weeks trying to decide, and scheduled a start date within only a few days of my contacting them to say I'd chosen S and A Painting. They emailed me immediately, asking me to pick out colors (and was ok with last minute changes) and outlining the work schedule. Steve met with me personally on the first day to ensure that all was going well. The crew of painters were very quiet, polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. The whole project was done a day ahead of schedule. I cannot recommend them enough, and will hire them again to do some interior painting on my own home, and likely some exterior painting. 

Interestingly, just after I contacted them about accepting their proposal, I saw a neighbour had hired them for some exterior work too.
