This Safeway is awful, truly awful. I only go here when absolutely necessary (i.e., no other option). It's always HEAPS more expensive than Coles and a lot shittier of a shopping experience. Always a massive queue, very few lanes open. Lots of the older women who work there at checkouts do nothing but chat with each other and ignore their primary responsibility - to ring up your groceries and get you out of there.
Don't shop here.

A Safeway store that is in need of a refurb and sooner is better. It always seems a bit dirty, but that is probably due to the busyness of the place during the day. Conveniently located opposite Brunswick Railway Station and just a short walk from the Sydney Road trams.

It is only a small Safeway, and doesn't hold a lot of variety in stock. Whenever I'm there, there is only ever once checkout open and a massive queue. It's quiet, clean and produce is fresh! But Coles next door offers better variety.

This place is lacking WOW factor. Compare to other Brunswick Safeway, I am very disappointed. Other Brunswick Safeway is excellent, with service and stock they have.

My local supermarket. Competitive prices and discounts every day. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Usually only a few registries open, so not too busy. Ideal if you want to shop in a quiet store.

This Safeway is little smaller than most others, but the quality and service is satisfactory. Well stocked and Fruit and Vege are fresh, well presented and displayed nicely. Deli good are fresh and good.

their prices have gone out and some higher than coles. lesser sales now compared to the past. i love their cheesecake as it is better than elsewhere. convenient to pop in to get something late night.

Deli good are fresh and good.
Service is usually fine.
