its a large safeway with a large range. recently revamped to look nicer and be easier to shop. easy to park underneath, so there's a lot going for it, but it is costly. trips to other supermarkets in other suburbs suggest this one is one of the most expensive....which if you live in camberwell is irritating as it suggests price hikes to squeeze the most dollars out of the seemingly local well heeled residents...which is misleading as many residents of camberwell are not "rich" at all

It's not overcrowded and I didn't have to wait long to be served. Good variety of food but fruit and vegetables were a little bit expensive. All staff looked neat and clean.

Customer service ranges from bad to terrible. They won't honour the safeway policy of giving you the item free if it's priced incorrectly (ever). If a new staff member joins and is nice, this is beaten out of them within the week and they become as surly and rude as all the other staff. This is my closest supermarket, but if I have time I go to Safeway in Camberwell Junction where the service ranges from normal to good.

Went there expecting it to be open on boxing day to get a loaf of bread. On arriving saw that it was open till 9pm looked at our watches both said 8.52pm. Went to go in and a lady told us we could not come in as they had already closed the doors :(

items are organised, staff are pleasant. Very good shopping experience. I always like to frequent there to do my groceries. You can order discount items who run out of stock.
