Took the Mrs there for an anniversary dinner, and was not disappointed. The service was really good, and the food was excellent. I found the dessert portions a little small, but the banquet main we shared was lovely (although a little pricey). We'll definitely go back there, for a special occasion.

Last night we dined at Saganaki for my nieces birthday. We had a group of 11 and were comfortably seated. Once all the guests were seated, the waitress came to collect our orders. All requested variations to the menu were accepted and met. The main courses were fresh, hot and delicious. The open souvlaki was incredibly tasty. The desserts were mainly good but in my opinion need to be more traditional. We even saw the chef make a couple of appearances which is always very friendly and welcomed. We will definately return in a hurry. Thank-you.

I was so impressed with this restaurant! I normally hate having to ask for specific changes to a menu but the staff were incredibly helpful and the chef made me a special dish, not even on the menu!!!! the most beautiful piece of atlantic salmon - and the white chocolate mousse dessert was to die for!!!!!

We had dinner on Friday night and most of us ordered the open lamb souvlaki. It was delicious but the salad was a let down. The meat was chunky and tender and well seasoned. I could have had a plate of that and diips and bread. We also ordered some calamari for the kids and that was yummy too. Some potato dish- can't remember it's name but it was supposed to be crispy potato with crumbled feta just tasted like dodgy burnt home made attempt at crisps. With about a teapoon of feta all over. Yuk!
The food was good and bad. Would go back just for the lamb but on a half price tuesday.

This place has never been *wow* but it used to be a reasonable choice to stop in for a few dips and a beer/wine before seeing a show in the docklands. This time we thought we'd stop past on the way home from work after I felt like something tasty to eat.............. Shame on me!
I'm not sure what's happened, but all I can think as I write this is 'what the hell?!' The change in management has bought this place to something that would make Coles cafe look awesome.
I won't go on and on except to provide an example of the 'traditional greek lemon potatos' They were a tiny bowl of literally the same wedges I heat up on a Sunday night when I can't be bothered cooking and feel a little peckish - yep the ones you chuck in the oven and eat because you're far too lazy to make anything else. At coles I buy an entire pack for $3 - at this place I got an entire 10 or so of them for about $11.
Oh, and the salad was slimy and looked nothing like what you would pay for.

Ouch. I just hope no one else goes there to waste their money to eats at this place! (We paid $100 for 2!!!!)

On a side note, the waitress did try her best to please us - but she was a poor backpacker who was just trying to earn a quid whilst trying to learn english..... she gets an extra star for trying her best to please.

Set Menu - $98 p/hd for Valentines Day.... Booked for 7pm, Starters at approx. 8pm, Entree at 8:50pm and MAINS AT APPROX. 10pm. TERRIBLE SERVICE. (in the mean time, they lost / misplaced my bottle of wine & it's chiller stand, HOW THAT IS POSSIBLE I'LL NEVER KNOW!!). Being honest, startes & Entree were FAB... sooo looking forward to our mains, 1hr at 10mins later they arrived... I RETURNED MY MAIN!!! The que for refunds / non -payers, was approx. 25 deep at 11pm at night. I refused to wait (as we had already paid by c/c) and walked out. TERRIBLE SERVICE, great starters/entree's - TERRIBLE MAINS!!! WORST SERVICE/ DINNER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! Will not recommend for any special occasion... followed up by a waitress saying the same thing happened x-mas day and new years...... THEN DONT HAVE A SET MENU, DICK HEADS!!!

Apart from the pork Hubby had, the food here was dreadful. Being Greek myself & a great cook thanks to my Mum & Aunts, I can say that with some confidence. We ate here only about six weeks ago, & considering there were ten or so vacant tables inside, the rude waiter insisted on seating us outside where it was freezing. The service was awful too, when we actually saw our waiters, (3 of them all up), our entrees came before our drinks, then when our mains arrived, I was still waiting for a drink. My souvlaki was the worst bit of meat I've ever had, & for $26 for a bit of meat on HALF, yes half, a pita, you'd expect it to at least be chewable & to get more than one lousy piece of tomato & cucumber with it. This food is so over-priced, too, & I never begrudge what I pay for a meal, unless it's awful...& this was pretty awful.
Thank goodness for the entertainment book, because all up our bill was $130 before the discount, for 2 awful entrees, 2 mains, 2 glasses of wine & 1 glass of soft drink (when it finally arrived) & a very very cold bum.
I think the owners should seriously think about moving to an area where rent is much cheaper & charge what this food is really worth, not what they need to pay the rent.

The food was OK although have had much better Greek food elsewhere. Waitress was very nice but we didn't see much of her, so we went without drinks a lot of the time. Not great value for money & they charged a 10% weekend surcharge.
