Discusted with salon; they seem to have double standards, I was here in December and cost me $60 for my regrowth and a dry off (which I asked before it was done) and I I was very Happy with that, today for the same service it cost me $92 and I have shorter hair! I will be looking to go elsewhere and after coming here for years. ML

Bad customer service! My mum took my 10 year old in for a haircut today and for $27 she had barely any hair taken off at all. When my mum went and told the lady at the counter that it didn't even look like my daughter had had a haircut and that some more needed to be trimmed off..the response she got was that if she wanted her to have more cut off then she would have to pay for another haircut. Terrible attitude to have towards a paying customer and total lack of customer care. We will never visit this place again.

Why are they closing the shop in Rockingham at 4.30pm when it states 5pm on the opening hours sign?
No haircut was able to be had at 4.32pm. Not going back now as it was not welcoming for a regular customer who left work early to get a haircut.

Went into Salon Express to get my 15 year old daughters hair cut and was asked by a member of staff if I minded that she check her hair for head lice first. Yes, I do mind, I didn't come here for a head lice check, I came here to get her hair cut. I was then informed that if I did not consent to this she couldn't get her hair cut as this is the salons policy. What the heck!!!!! I thought this was completely ridiculous and told them so. I have never had a problem with this at any other salon, ever. I didn't agree to this and was told they would not be able to cut her hair. Off we went to another salon, where she had her hair cut without any problems and without a head lice check!. As a paying customer surely it is my choice to have a head-lice check? Can you imagine how embarrassing this would be if a child actually did have head lice and was told so front of a roomful of customers? I can't imagine other parents putting up with this either. Salon Express you have a ridiculous policy and I will not be returning, you just lost yourself a paying customer and I suspect many more to come.

I liked how they did with my son..he is autistic and nervous and they were so understanding and helpful

Not the best service for the price. But the staff were tring as hard as possible to create a friendly and customed atmosphere. I didnt mind the job they did on my son, as he was wriggling anyway. Still could have been better and perhaps need a few more staff members on and better deals for kids cuts.

I took my teenage son here for just a quick no fuss haircut. The hairdresser started cutting his hair, took only a couple of snips and LOUDLY said "I am not cutting this, he has nits!"
Talk about embarrassing, not just for me but for a teenage boy this was excruciatingly embarrassing in a shop full of people.
Not very nice thing to do (had she not heard of tact?) also not at all professional. Then had the nerve to ask me to pay for the cut that she didn't complete. Splendid!

Incidentally, my son didn't actually have knits or any other type of infestation, just sand from the beach.
Such a shame a hairdresser couldn't tell the difference before humiliating the poor lad

I love coming in here, the best bit is you don't have to make appointment to have whatever you want done. The last time I was here was 3 weeks ago and I had a T section of foils & a Shampoo, blow dry, and style cut all for $170. I was very happy with the prices. The lady that cut my hair made sure I was happy the whole time.

I have been here a couple of times as I thought I'd give another chance but it doesnt change. Their attitudes are very condescending and they dont truly listen to what you are asking them to do with your hair. The part that amazes me is they charge to use eftpos. I havent come across a business in the Perth metro area that still charges for eftpos in a long time. The only redeeming feature was the young girl who washed my hair the last time. She was lovely and chatty and interested in me as a person.
