I took my teenage son here for just a quick no fuss haircut. The hairdresser started cutting his hair, took only a couple of snips and LOUDLY said "I am not cutting this, he has nits!"
Talk about embarrassing, not just for me but for a teenage boy this was excruciatingly embarrassing in a shop full of people.
Not very nice thing to do (had she not heard of tact?) also not at all professional. Then had the nerve to ask me to pay for the cut that she didn't complete. Splendid!

Incidentally, my son didn't actually have knits or any other type of infestation, just sand from the beach.
Such a shame a hairdresser couldn't tell the difference before humiliating the poor lad

Very easy to walk in and get nails done without an appointment. Staff are ok but seem very busy, under the pump and so not alot of time for chit chat. They do a fair job on acrylic nails but when asked to do nail art or get anything a bit special done they dont seem too keen, I have actually been talked out of getting anything other than standard acrylics or acrylic refills!

Went and had a full set of acrylic nails done here with shellac coating. It was ok, not fantastic. I had to wait quite a while, which to be completely fair was because I did not have an appointment. However I would have preferred they just inform me that there was a 40 minute wait rather than saying come in and wait... they did an average job on my nails for about the same price as most of these little nail salons that pop up everywhere

Very friendly and clean little nail salon - same prices as the nail salons in the shopping center but seemed a lot cleaner and more conscientious . The nail techs actually make conversation with you also they speak English in front of you unlike many other nail places (nothing against other languages, but it can feel very isolating and even a tad rude when lenghty conversations are carried out in front of you which you don't understand).
I've visited several times without an appointment and they are even open on Sunday which is unheard of but so convenient. They do lovley acrylics, shellacs, quite a range of fancy stuff and lovley pedicure

This is my favourite Indian Restaurant, if not my overall favourite place to eat. The owner and staff are warm, friendly and always remember yor name. The location is fantastic for a walk along the river before or after and on to the casino... but the best part is of course the food.

I like hot and spicy but the rest of my family don't, and Shish Mahal actually listen when you instruct the waiter/ess on how mild to hot you want your dish. This is, of corse, paramount when dining on Indian food if you ever want a return visit!

I went to Choppas for the first time today with hair that was a mess from being home coloured. The ladies there were lovely, not judgemental like othr places I've been to in the past. The sat me down, asked me exactly what i wanted and offered great advice, then completely fixed my hair!
I am very happy with the result and the staff were really sweet, I will be going back
