Located in a beautiful location opposite the water & park. Eye catching from the moment you enter with lovely pine furnishings & a boaty atmosphere. They offer interesting oyster shots & the seafood is to die for. An interesting array of pizzas is on the menu which would suit any palate. The service was rather slow & I found the staff could have been friendlier however was most professional.

Approximate cost: $28

When we went we were very crammed into the seating area we also werent all on the same table (very annoying) They brought my dad the wrong glass of wine the meals were very overpriced but were ok to eat but what topped it off in the end was they accidentally added extra things to to the bill and forgot someones meal all together

A lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy a meal and wine however it can easily turn into a very expensive day as you just want to keep ordering drinks as you sit in the sun! Yummy wood fired pizzas in interesting flavours, the BBQ chicken is really great.

I have dined at this restaurant several times and always very pleased with my meal and so have my dinner companions.

Of particular interest to me is to order the wood oven pizzas which are delicious and have gourmet toppings to make them even more appealing. There is a good variety including lamb, seafood, vegetarian and usually a special too.

The size of the pizzas is about a medium I think approx $21 each which is a little pricey, but its okay every so often as the toppings make up for it.

The restaurant serve a variety of oysters made with different toppings which my husband enjoys.

The tapas (approx $7 to $10 per small dish). I have had the marinated honey soy chicken wings one time and they are nice, although the sauce was too thin and runny.

There is on offer for mains, pastas, risottos, meat dishes too.

Its a nice dimly lit restaurant, staff are friendly and helpful.

Approximate cost: $20 to $35 per main

My family and I have been to Sams Boatshed a few times now. Good pizzas at reasonable prices. Service also pretty good. Plenty of seating as well, which is nice. And it's kid friendly too, which is important in a suburb like Williamstown. All up a good place to catch up with friends and eat well.

A lovely little restaurant with a seaside them. A boat shaped wooden bar & the option of sitting outside in warmer weather on beautiful chunky wooden tables. Consistently good food & service & friendly staff. An excellent choice of more casual snacky foods & substantial meals or tasty wood fired pizzas.

Staff spot on - welcoming, checked in after five minutes to see if everything was ok. Food fresh priced accordingly dips with pesto bread fresh, lovely spot looking over the park and pier near the maritime museum. Buzz of activity on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Approximate cost: $16
