Even though this pub is a great place to see some live music, I made the mistake of eating there one night and regetted it, if they do stay in business they should employ staff who canm cook and serve food that is actually nice to eat! We ordered nachos and were very disapointed. But again, great old pub, one of the fading few that have live music more often than most.

This is a great place to check out local live music. It's maybe not I want to impress a girl on a first date (unless she likes to party down!!) average price beers and pub food. Not to bad.

Great bands have played there, and have previously had the experience of performing on stage there. Need more metal but otherwise a great place to hang out

Approximate cost: $10

A dingy-chic pub that's got a down-to-earth atmosphere, and great stage upstairs. Fantastic supporters of local music - always great live music on. Good value food too.

I went to the Bistro at the Sandringham with friends and was pleasantly surprised.
The service was great and the food was very fresh and tasted very nice.
Great value for money. An as yet un discovered gem.

Approximate cost: $12
