Ian Macdonald is a Melbourne-based, industry-accredited finance professional with 18 years of demonstrated industry experience: 7 years as a banker (service, lending and leadership roles) and 11 years as a finance broker.

During my time working in the banking and finance industry, I observed many individuals were experiencing outcomes that left them feeling it was transactional and one-sided. I decided to step out and create a difference. 

My purpose is to help and provide a meaningful  financial experience by being transparent, caring and committed, thereby leaving an individual feeling an overall experience that benefited them.

My belief is that the relationship between a finance specialist/broker and a client is a financial partnership - one which stems from trust, credibility and by being congruent in actions and words.

I am a member of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) and the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL), now merged into what is known as the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). I'm licensed to operate and qualified in Finance and Mortgage broking to write and prepare new home loan applications with a panel of lenders that I'm accredited with.
