Savers is always great for some bargain hunting. I picked up some great pots for the kitchen today and my friend got a picnic rug. So always worth a visit for home wares before you buy brand new. Worth keeping in mind that some of the Savers in other parts of Melbourne often have better stock and slightly lower prices, just because there isn't the same level of demand.

Have been a regular customer for many years, amazing bargains can be found amongst junk, regular visits are the best way to find the best bargains. Good range of secondhand china, Tupperware, etc, great for low income households, students. Also, Hugh range of clothing, particularly good for children's clothes and a vary wide range of furniture items, some good, some old and some just really sad, BUT there are inconsistencies with pricing, sometimes an item I bought one week will be double or triple the price the following week (in the same condition, sometime with stains or holes in the article) there is no standard, it just depends on who prices the item out the back and once priced, this will not be changed. Staff at front of store are friendly, helpful. Donations of clothes, etc are encouraged with discount coupons offering up to 25% off next purchase. (good incentive to clean out wardrobe). Overall, if you have the time, and don't mind the dust definitely worthwhile browsing in.

Approximate cost: $CHEAP

People really go on about how great the Savers Op Shop is but I am continually disappointed.
They often have shoes or clothing with holes in them out for sale?? Their prices are really high when compared to other Op Shops and the pricing is really inconsistent.
They do offer a 20% Student discount( need to show yr card) on Sundays, which is great..
I have bought a few bric a Brac bargains from Saver's but am often shocked by the prices on the shoes and clothing...
The customer service is rather temperamental...

Be sure to find something for every occasion, fancy dress wedding formal or the footy!!! Your guaranteed to score a bargain and maybe even a laugh!!! Vintage, glamorous, funny, fantastic bargain!!! Give yourself a good hour or more to sort through the 1000's of clothes!!! Savers is fastly becoming a popular fashion outlet.

Staff are always busy and seem more concerned with sorting clothes or putting them back on racks than offering customer service. Great range of books but some items of furniture were overpriced eg: massage chair

Second hand clothing, homewares, bric-a-brac, books, CDs, DVDs, toys - you name it, they'll probably have it. Can find treasures at bargain prices. I've picked up old records here that l love.

Its a great environment in some ways. All people from all walks of life trying to find something... And you generally do find something you want and then (most of the time) it will cost you under $10! My favourite area is the furniture and odd and sods section. You find all kinds of stuff there.

Savers is an excellent company especially when you want to save a bit of money. When you donate your goods to them, they will give you a card with 5%,10%,15%,20%,25% and each time you donate they will hole punch the card and you will receive for the first donation 5% on the goods that you purchase with helps alot.

Approximate cost: $30-$40
