I purchased HERBATINT Permanent Herbal Haircolour Gel form this shop two days ago. I checked the product on the EWG SKIN DEEP Cosmetics Database and found it has several very nasty ingredients, according to this database. I was quite shocked and tried to return the unopened and unused Haircolour to the Store, I explained my concern to the older woman in charge, she refused to give me a refund, stating it was "their policy not to give refunds, only exchanges" and that this product was "really good for people who are allergic" I showed her a printout of the ingredient summary for this product from the EWG website.
I stated "I am not worried about allergies, rather the carcinogenic ingredients in the product. She again stated 'it was their policy not to give refunds"
I thought the products in the COBURG HEALTH SHOP would have been checked for natural and safe ingredients, I was wrong. I also found the staff member had never heard of the Enviromental Working Group website (USA) and its database of 75,000 cosmetics and personal care products.

I buy organic chicken feed, dog chews and garden mulch from them. Value is really good, (their cheaper than the big stores) and they will deliver locally for free, so I get my Hay/Pea straw/Lucerne bales from them, Family owned business, has been there for years, good range, friendly, helpful, will carry purchases to your car for you, lots of advice on what type of feed for chickens, pets, etc.

Have been a regular customer for many years, amazing bargains can be found amongst junk, regular visits are the best way to find the best bargains. Good range of secondhand china, Tupperware, etc, great for low income households, students. Also, Hugh range of clothing, particularly good for children's clothes and a vary wide range of furniture items, some good, some old and some just really sad, BUT there are inconsistencies with pricing, sometimes an item I bought one week will be double or triple the price the following week (in the same condition, sometime with stains or holes in the article) there is no standard, it just depends on who prices the item out the back and once priced, this will not be changed. Staff at front of store are friendly, helpful. Donations of clothes, etc are encouraged with discount coupons offering up to 25% off next purchase. (good incentive to clean out wardrobe). Overall, if you have the time, and don't mind the dust definitely worthwhile browsing in.

LOVE THIS PLACE! the Chocolate Moose is the best in Melbourne, good coffee too, the individual chocolates are a must have to take away afterwards. Child's choice: the selection of chocolate mini muffin, chocolate icecream and chocolate teddybear all on a small platter, YUM. Small area downstairs, but there is a big area upstairs, classy, a favorite for anything chocolate, great for dropping in after events in the city. Staff are nice, and really know chocolate, atmosphere is refined, but child friendly.

food was nice, but OVERPRICED, service was poor. On entering restaurant, found several tables with dirty dishes left on them, floor had not been swept, while staff standing behind counter, no iced chocolate drinks, paid $7.00 for a broken up chocolate and crushed ice drink that did not taste nice. Paid $8.00 for a small container of chocolate balls that tasted same as Maltesa's. Staff brought food to table and left without collecting dirty dishes, I had to call them back to remove them.
