This little diamond is really worth a try. Great food - and a different cuisine to the mainstream offerings. Menu is not extensive but is quite broad to suit alternative tastes, but worth going with the Mauritian style (try the Biriyani!!) after all thats what it is about.
Friendly helpful service from staff who reflect that they care - Chef happy to suggest to the "unfamiliar aussie".
Nice food, nice experience, although it was a quiet evening (midweek) and therefore perhaps lacking a little in atmosphere on the night.
BTW - If you like to eat somewhere that looks nice and clean - another reason to try Sawab.

Definitely suggest trying Saweb Cafe at Thornlie Square. Great value for money, high quality and truly delicious Mauritian style food. Staff are friendly and service is always great.
