One of the oldest buildings in Sawtell. Old fashioned cinema. Comfy seats and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

this cinema is a must see built in the 1800's its a very old style movie experience and only $10 a ticket compaired to your commercial $10 movie tickets these days.. a very warming and friendly atmosphere

Beautiful, old theatre, what more can one say. Breath taking. Staff are very friendly. Smiles all around. Good selection of movies. Some foreign films too. Great prices.

This is an awesome historic cinema/theatre dating back to the 1930's. The cinema seats about 400 patrons and is classically beautiful in it's decor. Ticket prices are much cheaper than other mainstream cinemas and staff are pleasant and friendly. Movies are sometimes behind from other cinema release dates, but worth waiting for if you want to see it cheaper and in cool old-style surrounds. They also show more of the art-house type films compared to the Coffs Harbour local Carol and Birch. Sawtell First Avenue Cinema is tops!! Also can't beat their selection of choc top flavours. The entire candy bar is well stocked, quality and affordable. Feels good to support a local business rather than a chain.
