My family and I had breakfast here and were really looking forward to it. However it was not as good as expected. Service was fairly good but can improve. I had ice coffee which was one of the worst I have had. Fresh orange juice is good. Caramel milk Shake Taste like plain milk, even after them redoing it and adding more caramel. Food was reasonable. And also reasonably priced. « Read less

The portion of foods are large and full of favours. We go there almost at least once a month! I personally love their crepe as breakfast and gnocchi as lunch. There are many other meals selections to suit wide range of customers. love this place!

Sayers is an interesting breakfast/lunch place to go. I went with a large group of people so the service was a little slow but it was worth the wait
The Food is all fresh and healthy, from eggs benedict, beans, sausage to something like banana bread or freshly made toasted muesli! The drinks are nice and the outside sitting area is pleasant and secluded

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1.30pm, towards the end of the peak hour lunch crowd. The menu had interesting dishes and my friend and I chose the crab croquettes and salmon dish. Both were very delicious and the serving portions were just right. The cake/tart display at the cashier is very impressive - stay away if you do not have good self-control. The vibe of the place was great, nice decorations and details to characterize the space. One of my favourite brunch/lunch places, I will definitely be back!

We brunched here for Mother's Day. They don't take bookings on the weekends so I arrived ahead of our party of five to make sure we got a table. Despite it being very busy (noon), it turned out there was one available immediately! The Mother in question was concerned that our food would take a long time to come out but it was a very reasonable wait (15 minutes).
The food itself was fantastic - interesting breakfast choices, plus counter lunch options such as frittatas: all made with high quality, fresh ingredients.
I had the Potato Rosti ($19) which came with two poached eggs, bacon & lemon scented spinach. Nice, but I probably wouldn't order it again because the rosti itself had too much plain potato. It could have done with some seasoning (and not just salt & pepper).
My partner had the Full Breakfast ($22) which was fantastic value, including two eggs (your choice of scrambled, poached or fried), bacon, Italian sausage, potato cake, homemade beans & more. The potato cake was absolutely divine, made with seeded mustard, red onion & spinach. The Italian sausage was disappointing though, very dry.
Others in our party had the Vegetarian Full Breakfast ($22), and a frittata from the counter selection (came with a gorgeous salad). These looked fantastic and there were zero complaints from the eaters! All the portions were very generous.
The coffee was top notch, they have a lovely range of teas (pot for one $4) and the orange juice was good quality.
Service was speedy, helpful & pleasant.
Later in the afternoon I went back for a cheeky slice of Orange & Poppyseed Cake ($7). This was served very generously and the cake was deliciously moist. My only complaint would be that the outer edge was a little too dry, but only the very edge.
All in all, I would highly recommend Sayers Food for a fantastic brunch experience.

We were looking for somewhere new for our "coffee date" our little treat without the kids and we found it in Sayers.
So cosy and intimate even for a coffee and cake. Coffee was lovely although could have been hotter. I had one of their donuts and I have to say I am a donut connoisseur and this has to be the best donut I have ever had, just the perfect size covered in a generous cinnamon sugar coating and the most lovely texture. My husband had the apple cake and it was beautiful. I would go back for the donuts alone.

Excellent brunch location, their selection of desserts is excellent, they also have a wide range of breakfast items. The smoked salmon is fantastic, and eggs are always a delight. A must try!

Sayers Food is a breath of fresh air. The breakfasts are made with quality ingredients and it's not your usual fare. I think for the quality of the food, the prices represent good value. Try the cod cake - not something one would usually have in the morning but it was delicious! It can be hard to get a seat so get there early.
