We had a booked in a photoshoot with Santa at Westfield this morning and came along with 2 young kids (1 who is under 2 yrs). We hoped it would be a good experienced and went there quite excited. However from the get go it was Unprofessional.
We went there 5 minutes before our slot and hoped it would be a quick process. However when we got there the photographers and assistants (3 girls ) had not yet set up for the shoot.. After about 10 minutes we realised that they had no clue how to set up the equipment. One of the Indian girls there even dropped the camera while trying to set it up as she hadnt secured it properly. they couldn't figure out how to set up the lighting or where any of the wires were meant to go, even though they were on the phone to tech support the whole time. About 40 minutes later they took in the first customer in saying they were almost set up, and asked them to let the kids chat with Santa. When they actually sat down to take the pictures.. they couldn't get the flash going.. This is not how photography with kids should be done. it should be a quick, seamless and hassle free process as little kids get cranky. during this whole time it was almost impossible to keep my toddler entertained. he got so cranky that when we finally sat down to take the pictures everyone was just exhausted and he was in the worst mood. They took a few pictures which were dark and they obviously hadn't yet got the flash going correctly but they were so past schedule they asked us to choose something, which we did, even though we weren't happy with the quality of the picture.
Finally once the pictures were done and they had to get the prints, they couldn't get the printer going!! My husband was late for work so we had to leave without collecting the pictures. Definitely won't use this service again.

Booked an appointment and over 30 mins later we have still not been seen. Why have appointments if you are taking all the walk-ins in front of you.

Photos are dark and quality is not great.

Emily is the best and she is very helpful and give my kids a Santa Miracle that the girls are able to see and take photos with the Santa. Thank you so much Emily and hope you will get a Santa Miracle come to you too this Christmas. Very appreciate what you did thank you again Emily.

My photo shoot with my pet dog, Cavapoodle, Murphy, up at Westfield, Tea Tree Plaza, Modbury, SA went perfectly. I was greeted by Jess who went out of her way, to make sure we knew where to go & what was going to happen. She was extremely friendly and helpful and made my pet dog, Murphy feel at ease. She made sure that our photo session with Santa was a very happy, relaxed & pleasant experience.
Santa ( Ryan) was most helpful, professional and made us all feel liked valued customers.
Jamie (Photographer) was very helpful, professional, thorough, accurate, efficient and hard-working. She did a fantastic job taking the photos and best of all she achieved the perfect family photo, which I will always treasure.
Tiana was helpful, thorough and accurate and hard-working. She printed out the photos, immediately, which was very much appreciated.
Thank yòu SANTA BY SCENE TO BELIEVE. I appreciate this fantastic opportunity to be able to have my most pet perfect photo with Santa. I will now be making this a family tradition every year for Christmas.

I would not recommend this business. I had initially booked a normal Santa photo session not knowing that I was not allowed to bring my pet in - that for pets a separate session was allowed. My pet was refused at arrival which was understandable given I had made the mistake. The staff had told me to rebook my session to Thursday without specifying time, she also told me that there was no need to change this to a pet session. I arrived on Thursday only to be refused again as the pet session was a specific time frame and it has all been booked out. When I asked for a refund, they withheld a 25% fee which I have no idea why given these sessions are in 5 min intervals, I acted in accordance with staff guidance only to be refused again. I lost the annual leave that I took to attend the session and quite frankly, the response regarding the refund for the staff was pretty much refer to our T&Cs which you accepted. Strong recommend against these guys!!

Would give 0 starts if possible, mask mandate bought in after we had booked, refused refund, would not allow adults to remove masks for the photo even though we were 2 meters from Santa or any other living soul.

My almost four year old was so excited to meet Santa. He talked about it for weeks, planned his own outfit, did he own hair and practiced what he would say. Pity our Santa wouldn’t even speak to my son without multiple prompts from me. Then when he did speak he was awkward and a bit rude, looking at me saying ‘I don’t understand him’ instead of improvising.

All they want at castle hill Santa photos is for you to get your photo in 30 seconds and get the hell out.

I contacted customer service and haven’t even had an acknowledgment.

Disgusting.

My daughter wouldn't sit for the sanata photos.

The staff kept telling me to change the booking and call customer service.

I did this and customer service charged me a 20% fee because I had rebooked which is what I was told to do.

Will never go back lost a long time customer.

Booked a time but turned up to be told running late by 30 mins, get in the queue. What was the point in booking? Booking slots were 4 mins long so the delay was foreseeable. Why make them so short? If I had any choice I would take the kids somewhere else.
