A must go to fun and educational experience for not only children, but any age really. Although it is targeted for children, interested adults will learn too if they engage, or particularly if they take the time to read the extra information given on the displays for example. Scitech is very popular with schools. Home schoolers will like it too. There are always new and interesting displays and interactive activities being created, so if you've been once before, there will always be something more to see and interact with at a future visit. We have been here plenty of times and usually spend the whole day here. BYO food & drinks, otherwise there is a small cafe downstairs.

This is so highly educational and a fun experience for the primary school aged children. It can interest kids with a number of science projects and anomalies. A great day spent out with the kids here and you get a piece of mind that they are still getting some kind of education whilst being out side.

This place is great - the kids loved it. It's educational whilst being entertaining. My kids particularly like the dome where they discuss the planets and stars. The beauty of scitech is they change the theme every so often so if you go in one lot of school holidays, then in the next, you are sure to get something you haven't seen. This place can get extremely busy and one of the down sides is there are not very many places to eat within the complex and only a small area you can eat within scitech itself. Once you pay for your ticket, they give you a voucher so that you can get free parking and once paid, everything is free.

Approximate cost: $48 (family pass)

We have been to Scitech twice now but unfortunately both times we arrived about an hour before closing time which was not enough time to do the place justice. Talking about justice, on entering the establishment there was a simulated murder scene and as you go around the designated pathways you are invited to try various exhibits of evidence to try and solve the case. I just wish we had made more time to devote to this mystery. Hopefully if we are ever in Perth again we will have the chance. Great exhibits to perplex, amuse, and astound the mental and physical capacities of all ages.

Forget the kids. This is great for a lot of us oldies who like a bit of fun and games with science.
Although we didn't get there til late in the afternoon,we still had a great time playing around with the exhibits. Laser Harp, plasma globes, mini water spouts, hot air balloons, air cannons and all sorts of weird and wonderful experiments can keep one occupied for hours. I'm only kidding about the kids though. Take them and I'm sure they'll love it. Great value for money!
