With a quiet atmosphere and polite staff that may be on the brink of callapse due to popularity, scrumpys chinese in Aspley is the prime spot to cure a chinese food craving, fill a void in the stomach or feed a few fat mates. I love the lino floor and mis match art, the fine person/s at scrumpys arent out to bullshit you, theyre purpose is to feed you. cheap!

Great value to feed a family of 4,not a lot of options but great for a quick cheap take away.Been there quite a few times and food has always been fresh when I've gone there.Better than going to Macca's or KFC

Approximate cost: $50

OMG I don't know where to start, lino floors, mistmatched art work and food that is tepid at most. Bit like the slops you get at the food court. I'm still in a state of shock I didnt end up spending my night in casualty with food poisoning. Can anyone tell me why the health department never goes to these chinese take aways/ buffets as I've yet to have a piece of hot food there. there was something there which was , from memory ribs in plum sauce. it was stuck fast to the bottom of the baine marie and no amount of pushing and shoving was going to remove one of them. when we left it had not been topped up and no one I saw had managed to remove one either. YES i would have turned around and walked away but i was with a family with little children that were excited about going to a buffet. This is a health hazard to have food that is luke warm and well below health standards

Approximate cost: $15.90

Don't go to Scrumpy's expecting above average service or food. It's a case of 'get what you pay for' but sometimes, what you pay for at Scrumpy's is exactly all you want.

The food is standard Aussie-Chinese fare and at times, could be a bit hotter/fresher. For $15.90 for dinner, all you can eat, it's not too bad. It fills a gap and leaves you feeling satisfied enough.

No complaints ... go there for convenience and to satisfy a mild Chinese food craving.

I really like going here with a few friends. So it's not the best Chinese food I've had but it's great value for money. All you can eat lunch and dinner is awesome. Sometimes I think it's weird though when I think about it and there is all this Chinese food and then a soft serve machine, little strange but anyway. The staff are friendly enough, though when the chiefs come out to put the new food in the buffet they look a little angry, sort of like they don;t want to be there. Overall quite good though

If you are in a hurry this a great place for a quick basic chinese fix! The serve yourself buffet is brimming with all the usual chinese favourites and the food is piping hot and usually very fresh. The dessert is very basic but is all you need after a big meal. Great for fussy kids as something is usually to their liking. Also great value for pick and mix takeaway. Not really a romantic atmosphere but very functional for a family feed.

Nice quite little place with great friendly service and good food at an average price. All you can eat Chinese food as well as takeaway. Open for lunch and dinner.
