We phoned ahead and the food was ready and waiting for us. And was excellent! The calamari was the best we've had in a long time.

Here is a fish & chip shop that has stepped up to the increasing gentrification of the area. So the result is a place that is a little nicer, food that is a little better quality and a price that is a little bit more expensive than your average fish and chips shop. The weird bit is if you skip the salad it is totally a bargain, but if you order the salad it is much more expensive.

Still, it is one of the nicest places for fish & chips and you can take your fish & chips across the road to sit in the park by the sea.

We have been going to Seafood lovers almost every week for the past 2 years for our regular Friday take away, although it is not in our area it is worth the trip. It is clearly value for money and turns out the nicest non greasy servings. A lovely clean and modern shop. We recommend it to everyone and definitely worth a try as it has never disappointed.

A great service & really yummy food! We ordered take away for 4+ people & ordered all sorts. Our order was spot on & all of it was tasty! No complaints here! I'm yet to go into this store for a meal or fresh seafood but will be in the near future! :)

This is not your average fish and chip shop. If you're after something healthier than the usual fried fare, you can get an excellent salad, have your seafood grilled and enjoy it all on real crockery plates at comfortable tables overlooking the ocean.

Of course, if it's the golden goodness of the fried foods you want, then you can get that in spades! They also have amazing cakes, pretty good coffee, a variety of drinks and ice creams and the service is always friendly and welcoming.

Choose from garlic prawns, a bucket of prawns, fresh and cooked seafood, whatever takes your fancy on a relaxing Sunday ... or whenever you choose to go there.

a lovely family business offering ongoing customer care and quality food at a reasonable price. I have been to Seafood Lovers on several occasions with family or friends for a big celebration and have always been impressed. I recently organized my Mum's 60Th Birthday. I walk into Seafood Lovers to one day to hear this beautiful Italian music playing, i smelt this intoxicating coffee aromar in the air, customers are sitting down with their family eating and laughing, I see people walking their dogs on the Margate beach smiling. I approach counter to make an order, immediately they say hello and greet me by my first name. I feel warm inside when around this family i feel part of the Margate community. But it is not just about food, customer service this family has created a beautiful atmosphere for people to visit. Seafood Lovers family continue to help me order a beautiful banquet of seafood from crumbed whiting to crumbed calamari or fresh prawns to fresh grilled salmon. I was really impressed to find out they have local fresh fish and seafood delivered every few days. They also have a beautiful selection of desserts to die for. I leave Seafood Lovers feeling full in my stomach, full in my heart and more in my wallet to spend

Forget expensive places like Breakfast Creek Seafood, Brett's Wharf or Aria. Seafood Lovers at Margate have top quality seafood, cooked to perfection and superb value for your money. Not an oily chip in sight!

A great local eatery spot, - we go here most weeks for dinner and drop in for coffee and cake on occasion. Coffee is excellent, always made the way we like it and the desserts are truly wicked.

The atmosphere and location is excellent; Seafood Lovers are directly opposite Margate beach, great for people watching. Seafood Lovers offer 1st class food, great service with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
