well if you are looking for a friendly warm salon this is it. iv been coming to Selbys for about 2 years now after i had trouble with my last hairdresser. after finding Mikaela my hair has never been better or in better condition

Are mullets still popular? (Were they ever?) Beware! I went here on recommendation. Big mistake. I emerged from this "salon" with a cross between a helmet and a mullet on my head. Thank god for paper bags! Next morning I paid another salon to fix the damage. The "stylist" (yes, in this case, does deserve the title) has done their best to repair the technical failures and infuse some modern style into what's left of my tresses. An expensive hair experience that I'd wish on no other.

Selby's are fantastic! I've been going there for years and would happily recommend them to everyone. I have long, thick and rather difficult hair and they are always very patient and I leave looking perfect. They also did my gorgeous wedding hair which worked out PERFECTLY! I had so many compliments on my special day and will always go back.

I am a Glen Iris local and came to Selby's a few years ago. From my very first visit all the staff were very warm and inviting. They have a lovely salon, fantastic staff and every experience has been very positive. I've sent many of my friends to Selby's and they are now all regulars too. I highly recommend them and think if you are looking for a professional, friendly environment then you should definitely try Selby's.

David is wonderful. Lots of regular customers, over 20 years experience. He services several members of my family who live in the surrounding Hawthorn Kew and Glen Iris suburbs.

Came out with tiger streaks through my hair and went back to have it fixed and was told they were busy until close... You would think they would stay open for an hour. Not good enough...
