I had hired a van for a local hire in Sydney to move, with so many locations available i was able to get one closest to me. The rate for the van hire are very competitive prices for a great quality of the vehicle which is easy to drive on a normal licence.
The staff are friendly and helpful and go that extra mile to help their customers out! Ill be back for sure! :)

Value for money, easy to hire and return as long as you can take pictures and follow instructions before and after hire. Kim from facebook has been of great help, had some issue with the billing and she was able to resolve it quickly and efficiently.

I read other reviews before I booked, but i had to go with them even though they didnt have a good score, there was no one to offer what i needed when i needed at the price they did. i was worried it would be a '' what you pay is what you get'' kind of thing. My hire was nothing like any of the previous reviewers, which makes me think that maybe some people just want something for nothing, even if they are in the wrong.

What a great Service!! Hired a 1.5 tonne van to go to brisbane and back to sydney. Van drove like a dream, very fuel efficient. I didnt mind the extra time to take photos of the vehicle as i knew this was for my protection. I cant be blamed for an accident that i never did as i have the proof and so do they. It was explained that if i didnt want to incur any extra toll processing fees to take my toll pass.
As with all hire a companies a bond of $400 must be taken and would be refunded within 7-10 business days. This was to cover any accidents, tolls, speeding fines. they were very easy to deal with and were extremely good at making sure i knew all the processes so i wouldnt have any hidden costs. they toook there time to explain it all. Very happy.... wouldnt hesitate to use these guys again.

I hired a 2t Renault van recently. The van itself was fine, but my experience was terrible and has not ended yet.
I found Self Move Hire to have poor organisation, poor communication and blatant untruths given over the phone. I am still waiting for a promised 8% refund...18 days ago at time of writing this review. I am available for a detailed account of my experience.

After scanning the net for quite some time, I hired the 2t Renault Master high top van from Self Move Hire on the weekend from their Wentworthville Location. I was hesitant as I couldnt readily find a review of Self Move Hire on the web but all turned out well. I hired the van for 9 hours. It was a semi-automatic in excellent condition, very spacious and must have been relatively new with reversing sensors. The rate was very competitive compared to the other major players in the industry (even with my corporate discount). All in all and excellent experience.
