The food at Shanghai Chef Restaurant isn't too bad, it probably just isn't the best in the area. I ordered a few items and really only the XLB type soup dumplings were good.

The staff there are really friendly and motivated to work. Every time I am there they are always eager to please and always wearing a cheerful smile.

Now the food is second to none. I especially love their shallot pancake, steam scallop in shell and their stir fry beef noodle. It never fails to impressive me. I even go as far as to buy their fried doughnut close to the entrance to snack on my way home. Over the months I have been bringing my friends, family and anyone I know to this place for a good time.

It is pricey, however for the service and the food received its well worth the dough.

it looks a family operated small restaurant. they have very traditional shanghai style snake and dishes. Great taste and nice tea. Just a bit small dinning and not a modern restaurant. suitable for small families to have a quick dinner
