Really good Indian restaurant, the food was made with lots of Indian spices and full with aroma.

Went here with some friends for a christmas get together, fortunately most of my friends love indian food. This restaurant is very expensive and that is why we chose to have lunch rather than dinner as they have lunchtime specials and that way we could order more and enjoy ourselves. To start with we tried the Tandoori tasting platter (I definitely recommend you try this) it was a great way of trying different food, absolutely delicious. I also recommend you try the beef vindaloo (it is quite hot), the madras lamb and the chicken curry were fabulous. Truly authenitic indian food. Service was fairly quick, meals were not large, about average and the staff were very friendly. Probably will not return as they really are quite expensive. Lunch time is the best time to go, you save quite a lot. Lunch time meals are around $15 whilst ordering a curry for dinner starts at around $23. As nice as the curries were, I would not pay $23 for curry.

I was very unimpressed with Shankers. The food was pretty average and my dish was so spicy it was actually inedible. Friends have insisted they've had good food here so I may give it another go, but I won't be in a rush.

Shanker is the owner of this sensational Indian family run business. We have been regulars for many years, I love the Prawn Tikka Masala, the standard of food, the variety of dishes including Singapore Noodles to the famous "Chilli Crab" nights are mouth watering! Service is fantastic from all the family & staff, we are always made welcome, highly suggest you try it, you won't be disapointed!

Truly authentic Indian cuisine a the name suggests, good for dining in but we usually get takeaway. Their vegetarian dishes are really good, especially the pakoras!

Had a very enjoyable dinner at Shankers recently, excellent food - and the waiters recommended several menu items I would not have tried otherwise. Everything I tried was delicious! If you love Indian food, you'll love Shankers.

We went there for a degustation dinner for Moo Brews. The food was amazing, really authentic (to use and over-used word) and for the price, you can't go wrong!
The staff were very thorough and polite, and would bend over backwards to ensure you were enjoying yourself!

don't wait any further if you are looking for a place to order a late take away order.even if you order for a take away food even at the last minute they are ready to do it for you.

Just spectacular, I ordered a serve of lamb chops which would have to be the best BBQ that I have ever had, great music playing in the background and helpful staff.

We celebrated a birthday there for dinner a few months ago. The business had recently relocated to a new premises and staff were very eager to please and seek our feedback. The manager approached us towards the end of the evening, and when he found out it was my birthday, he provided the 4 of us with free dessert (delicious home-made icecream). We will definitely visit this restaurant again! The food was fantastic and our children who are new to Indian food, enjoyed the experience too.
