I have been a regular customer of Shinjuku Japanese restaurant for the past 5 years. The freshness of the food and value for money is second to none. My favourite dish is their sushi and sashimi combination special. Very generous serve and genuine Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended!!

I love Japanese food and come from a family of Japanese food lovers - as a child, at least one meal a week would be at an excellent Japanese restaurant near our home. With that in mind, I found Shinjuku to be immensely pedestrian - the food was of middling quality, and not really particularly anything to rave about. All right for a mid-week meal, but not for any real occasion.

We have eaten at Shinjuku at least 20 times over the past 7 years and found the food and service to be of consistently excellent quality. The atmosphere has soft lighting and very comfortable. It is excellent value for money and we highly recommend it.
