Fabulous restaurant with friendly and accommodating staff. The food is always delicious and we enjoy both dining in and getting takeaway from here. They have a great range of vegetarian meals (and plenty of meat dishes as well) and they also offer a discount if you are going to the 1812 theatre (just show your tickets when you pay the bill).

Shiraaz is without doubt the best Indian Restaurant in the Eastern Suburbs and the Dandenong Ranges. Sunil and his staff are welcoming friendly and totally professional. The food is phenomenal especially the Tandoori Platter "Yum" try their mint yogurt with it its sensational! The menu is full of traditional Indian delights but for me the only thing missing is a nice HOT GOAT curry so sadly i have to go elsewhere for that fix! never the less this is my favorite Indian Restaurant and would recommend it to anyone who loves great Indian food. Thanks SUNIL and staff. Michael

The food is delicious, but does take a while to come out. The staff are friendly enough, but the tables are very close together. We went early in the week, was fairly quiet. If it was full, it would have been too loud for me. Great serves.

Not a bad little restaurant but a bit slow on providing meals even though they were not booked out. I ordered a gin and tonic (I'm sure they had to run to Maxifoods for the tonic water it took that long) The gin and tonic was in the smallest glass I've ever been served in a restaurant and was full of ice and lemon, not sure if there was even gin in it!. The food was ok, the spinach chicken was so swamped in spinach I struggled to find the actual chicken. I came away full and satisfied but I've had much better Indian.

We went here after reading other reviews on WOMOW and were pleased to find the other reviews were accurate! The food was fantastic and not overpriced. The service was attentive and the restaurant had a pleasing ambiance. We had a banquet which was great value for money and the courses were paced out nicely. Its also BYO wine which was great but the wine list seemed reasonable priced as well.

Best Indian around. Only problem it's a little small. Hint hint guys. Food is always great, and if you want hot you get hot! Can get busy, however takeaway is just as good.
