The lunch sets at shogun are quite yummy, I love the fish set or the chicken. We always change the steam rice to garlic fried rice for an additional $2 cause the fried rice is really filling and delicious. They do have a teppanyaki show where you get to see the chef perform in front of you. However, if you prefer a quiet dinner, you can choose a table service and still order the teppanyaki. The best part is if you are an ANU student, you get 20% off your total bill which is very affordable.

Approximate cost: $13 (after ANU Student Discount)

It was a good experience. It offers a variety of different Japanese meals. It was very good value money though I would describe the meals as alright (it is not truly authentic Japanese - they are playing down the favours to Western taste buds too much). The restaurant when I went there for lunch and so the service was relatively quick.

Approximate cost: $20

A Japanese restaurant with nice atmosphere and not-too-bad food. We got to sit in the booths with the cut out seats on the floor. Food was reasonably good value and good quality, though it is not the best Japanese food around. Service was good, nothing remarkable. In all not too bad for a night out.

Approximate cost: $25
