Shuga is definitely a popular spot for a few locals. Their food is pretty good and averagely priced too, they cater for functions. I don't really love the vibe though. It can get really noisy and a lot of young people hang out there, including in their cars outside. Probably better during the week or something but.

Shuga is a fun, trendy place to meet with friends for lunch, dinner or drinks. This place is very popular with the locals. Food is great (loved the nonna's eggs) and they hold a lot of special functions. Been back a number of times. Parking also very convenient. Service can be slow though even when they're not busy.

I discovered this gem about 6 months ago. From first visit I was impressed. The menu is extensive, from snacks to salads, steaks, pasta, you name it and a dessert menu to die for - the food is exquisite. They cater for every taste from the fussy light picker to the gourmet lover. Prices are reasonable with the average main around the $16 mark, but I'm hooked on the chicken breast with the brandy cashew sauce topped with avocado which is $23 and worth every cent. Staff are very good with faces and greet you like an old friend when you return. My first stop there was for a new cuppa venue. I am coffee fussy but they didn't disappoint me. I started going there for a place to meet with friends and have been hooked from the word go. I love going there and highly recommend it. Whether it's a cuppa and a chat stop you're looking for, or a dinner to impress, you wont be disappointed.

This place offers a good range of Australian Menu items such as steaks, some seafoods and pizzas along with foccacias and snacks for those after something less substantial. We visited for lunch and ordered three dishes - fish and chips, foccacia and involtinis and all were reasonably sized and of good quality. Nothing exceptional, however nothing poor in taste either. The restaurant is comfortable and seating is well spaced. The place can also cater for functions and parties. Service was very friendly and helpful when we were unsure what to order.

For those with Entertainment books, you can buy one meal and receive one free with a voucher from the book.

Approximate cost: $15
