You order food off iPads which is very convinient, quick and easy to get your food. Lots of photos of all their different menu options. Best Japanese around!

Came here on a Saturday night and it was quite crowded! Nevertheless, I had the Pork Chashu ramen which was around $14 (quite reasonable for its portion) and the broth was so delicious! Authentic ramen that’s worth the price, will be back to try the others!

Shyun is a staple for me on the Koornang Rd strip in Carnegie. Consistently good food, awesome service, nice range of imported beers and sake and cool vibe. Efficient too! Last night I has a beautiful piece a buttery salmon and a range of sides. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is absolutely awesome and can show some of the bigger restaurants around town that big isn't always better. The food is tasty, service prompt and the waiters are courteous and no sighing. Highly recommended

I always have a very good experience with Shyun. A quick meal with them is always pleasant and delicious and stressfree - well expect for deciding what to order as they have a bit of choice and do both hot & cold plates well.

Amazing little place. Extremely popular, definitely book if planning to have dinner there. You order on tablets and the orders quickly follow. They were apologetic about our food being delayed but really it was incredibly fast service in my opinion. A real novelty to order with the tablets and the food is still terrific. Getting the bill was also really simple and came with just a press of a button. Seeing the bill before it is brought to you also was great when working out how to divide up the payment.

I love coming to this place! Food always tastes great, quick service and really reasonably priced. There's no waiting to try and find a waitress to order as you simply order from an iPad for your table - too easy! Sometimes they won't take bookings so you may need to wait a while for a table (but i've been pretty lucky so far!) Highly recommend this place.

Excellent fresh food - delicious! Very fast service - Shyun a family favourite. Sometimes very busy and can get a little cramped so there is a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Take away is also a good option with them.

Delicious authentic Japanese food. A perfect meal for a lazy Sunday, however seating gets a little cramped at times. Favourite would have to be the soft shell crab roll !
