Paradai Thai 2 would be my definite choice for Thai cuisine. From their curries, noodles to dessert, I have yet to try anything I didn't like. Special mention to their Yum Neau (beef salad), nice and refreshing, yet still filling. No wonder it has 'yum' in its name !

Santucci's is definitely my go to spot for breakfast to catch up with friends. Breakfast dishes are generous, delicious and fairly priced. Coffee is never a let down, with a special mention to their chai lattes ! What's there not to like ?

Cute little place to have dessert, whether it be just after lunch or for a late night snack. Service is speedy, staff are friendly, and Desserts are delicious, with my favorite being the mango mountain with the mango popping pearls ! One thing I have realized is that their air-con is always on, and at freezing temperatures too, despite the weather outside. BYO jackets haha

This review is for China Bar Signature Buffet, Burwood East VIC

I've been here for lunch twice now. And on both occasions, was with a coupon (buy 2 get 1 free/ buy 1 get 1 free), and so did not have to pay the whole price of $29.

I must say, this is one of the better all-you-can-eat restaurants I've been to. There was pretty much all you can eat : sushi, yum cha, roast meats, noodle dishes (upon request), mains and desserts. If only their lunch sessions included seafood, sashimi and peking duck too ! :(

Definitely an establishment I would highly recommend to friends and family. I would also highly suggest checking out their Facebook pages frequently for their discounts and specials !

Only downside is, the food did not vary much from each visifrom the two times I have visited, and so having said that, will not be visiting too soon (that's just me being picky though!).

This review is for Green Terrace Korean BBQ, Carnegie VIC

verified email - 03 Nov 2012

I've seen many Korean restaurants come and go in this exact location. From new restaurants to changing to new management, there has been many changes. Green Terrace Korean BBQ is now a all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.

Different to other KBBQ resturants, instead of selecting which dishes you would like a la carte, this was a self serve buffet. Personally, I like this style more. This way, I could be as picky as I wanted and choose the what I would like, and knowing there wouldn't be any wastage. There were many different cuts/marinated meats to choose from along with vegetables and side dishes.

Could not really comment on service as everything was mainly self serve. I would say that $29 is a fair price to charge for all-you-can-eat. However, personally all-i-could eat was not so much. Having said that, did not really get value for money. Overall, a satisfying dinner.

This review is for Eastern Dumpling House, Carnegie VIC

This little dumpling house is a wonderful addition to Koornang road. Came here for a taste and compare to their competitor, Auntie's Dumplings just down the road. Biggest point of difference would definitely be cleanliness. I like Eastern Dumpling House's simple and clean concept. Service is similar - mainly communication barriers and lack of interest from wait staff.

Food wise- Most memorable was the Fried Pork Mini Buns. Absolutely delicious, very authentic and definitely comparable to the ones I have had in Shanghai.

Pancakes were delicious, however I cannot say the same for the drinks. The best ting about Stokers is the ambience ! Love the store design and the cozy, toasty vibe. One of my favourites for a late night snack

This review is for The Cuckoo Restaurant, Olinda VIC

dined at this restaurant for a friends birthday dinner. Staff were extremely friendly, and overall visit was amazing. Not only was it an all you can eat restaurant, there were a few performances which involved all customers. Had a very fun night there. Only downside was the drive up was quite nauseating (not Cuckoo's fault though!)

Definitely a restaurant at the top of my mind for lazy lunches. Have tried a many items on the menu, but find myself back to the basics. Can't go wrong with boiled peking pork dumplings and Shanghai fried noodles. Food is fast and tasty. Service is something that needs to worked on though.

Amazing pizzas! Favourite would have to be the lamb pizza hands down. Their cabbage salad is also very tasty. Love how they constantly change it up, offering unique pizzas !
