Siam Orchid Thai Restaurant

One of the best Thai restaurants I've been too in Melbourne, very authentic but the restaurant is a bit small. The owner takes your orders without writing them down - she is amazing. Overall a yummy meal

We just had the most scrumptious lunch at Siam Orchid. It was really hard to decide amongst all the lovely menu choices. We had the Por Piea Tod )Thai spring rolls) with a delicious dipping sauce, the Satays which had a peanut sauce on them which was to die for, the Pad Preaw Wan which is essentially a sweet and sour dish and we had it with chicken and a host of crisp stir fried vegetables, and the Kao Pad Pag - a scrumptious rice dish with egg and large pieces of vegetables throughout. It was all just delicious, some of the best Thai food we have eaten. All together, about $42.

The restaurant is roomy even though it looks small from the outside, it's long. And the tables are arranged diagonally to give more space and a walk through to the counter at the back. Certainly not the most decorated or atmospheric place, but it's simple, elegant and charming.

It was about half-full on this Sunday afternoon and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. They are open from Thursday to Sunday for lunch from 11.00 - 2.00 and Tuesday to Sunday from 5.00 - 10.00 for dinner. BYO wine only.

Staff were lovely, polite and attentive. Definitely a return customer made from us today.

Best Thai food out of Thailand. Great service, the staff are very polite and helpful. The food presentation is great and very authentic. The take-away is always prompt and on time.

So many food choices in Williamstown, but we decided to try Siam Orchid Thai. We were not disappointed! The red curry would have to have been one of the best I have had. Prices were very reasonable, and the staff were charming. I would love to go back!

My family and I either dine in or take away from Siam Orchid once a fortnight we love it that much. Their green and red curries are the best we've ever had, and we've had a lot of Thai. The satay skewers are also delicious. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly and efficient. Great value for money. We found this restaurant 8 years ago and intermittently we try another Thai restaurant but none of them can compete.

Best Thai that I have ever had. It leaves the others for dead. My husband and I have been coming here for over 17 years. It's the best.

Although not completely local, we can't help but come back to Siam Orchid.

We always have take-away and the wait is always negligible, when you consider the drive over. The masaman curry is to die for and the food has an authentic feel.

Generally a great Thai take-away. Average price $14-16 (I have included rice as well).

The Best Authentic Thai food, restaurant and staff are very traditional. The food is not some gourmet hack or old Chinese restaurant trying to make Thai food, it is real and tastes fantastic. Try The Panang Gaeng and Pad Ta Krai.

We go to this restaurant all the time, I can't believe I haven't put a review in for it earlier!! The food is amazing...you can truly taste the spices and ingredients put into each dish. Great size dishes and great value for money. Service is excellent.
