It is such a pity when you find somewhere you really like the food, but everything else lacks. We dined here for breakfast a couple of weeks back. We were seated by a very friendly lady....who took our order of 2 cups of tea then disappeared. After 20 minutes I asked another young waitress if she would take our food order and if our tea was ready?- she said she'd be there in a minute. 10 minutes later she came and took our order and promised tea! Having been sat for over 40 minutes, we asked if we'd be getting our tea, the girl scurried away and came back with two pots of tea. My partner and I ordered identical meals, but I asked for mushrooms instead of tomatoes. We then got our breakfasts, which were delicious...my partners meal had no mushroom or tomato...?? and mine was correct. I asked for some tomato sauce, then 5 minutes later asked again. We finally ate our food and gave up on any hope of the waitress coming back and went to pay the bill. The young girl asked if everything had been ok for us, I said no, it hadn't and that we had found it quite an unpleasant experience. She laughed. On speaking to friends of ours, they have said the same thing about this place. We had been there on a very quiet Sunday morning and there were 3 staff on. Its a shame, as the food was delicious. Good work chef, but your service team are really letting you down!
