Small shop, but perfectly adequate for mid week shops. The deli counter is always well stocked and the staff are friendly. The fruit and veg section always has decent produce too. The only problem is getting served, never seems to be enough staff on.

I've used Coles online 3 times now. I would ordinarily go to the shop, but I've started doing 1 massive shop online per month and then little shops for fruit etc each week. Its so convenient doing a big shop online as I can save it, and then add to the list later. The prices are a little dearer online which I think is just stupid, as you pay a delivery charge anyway. I've lived in the UK before, and the supermarket giants over there make it more than worth your while to shop online, I hope Coles/ Woolies follow in the likes of Tesco's footsteps. As for Coles online service, well they are incredible, the driver brings the shopping all the way up the path, up the steps, in the door, into the kitchen and then LIFTS the shopping onto the worktop! Seriously!!! Thats why I love doing my big shop online! :)

I wouldn't ordinarily review a petrol station, but I make a point of filling up at 7 eleven Marcoola. There are a couple of reasons, you never have to wait long, I think due to the fast service inside the shop, so cars move quickly. Another reason, the shop (and pumps) are always clean. Third reason, the guys on the counter are always very friendly and have a sense of humour and last but not least, they stock Krispy Kremes doughnuts!!!!! Bonus!

I am drewling just thinking about this place. Good coffee, amazing churros and the caramel sauce...OMG...its amazing! They accept entertainment vouchers without fuss and they are always very friendly and quick to serve you. Worth a visit to rest your feet after a busy day shopping. I hate to admit it, but I even got it takeaway one night after the movies...so good! :)

I've been to this shop 3 times now. I have to say I find their prices to be very good. I've been really lucky that everything I've bought has been on special. I recently got a Chuggington train set component (tower section to load boulders) for $9.95 which is brilliant value. They don't stock a lot of 'traditional' toys as mentioned below, but my little one is into thomas and chuggington, so its perfect for us. Sometimes it feel a bit overstocked and dusty, but always very good value and the staff are friendly.

Great icecream, friendly staff and always quick and easy to get in and out. They also accept entertainment vouchers which is what lured us in, in the first place, but we keep going back now!

I really love the food at B-Fresh. Their takeaway lunch section is great...particularly the paninis. They also have great fresh meats and cheeses. You can also get fresh pre-cut cheese etc in the fridge section which is very handy if you are in a hurry. The staff seem to have a bit of an attitude problem at lunch time on the sandwich counter which is astounding as this place isn't cheap, my colleagues and I have encountered some pretty awful service when buying our $10 sandwiches! The service won't stop me shopping here, as the produce is great, however if I find another good quality deli with great service, I'll be switching. Tip: The pre-packed rolls are amazing, big flat takehome panini rolls. :)

North Shore Tavern is always a winner with us. $7.50 lunches everyday, and different deals every night. They always have a specials board and the meals are substantial. Kids meals are $8.50 including an icecream and drink. They also have an outdoor playground with seating, so it makes for a relaxed meal with the kids. Our only gripe would be the fact they never seem to get all of your meals to the table at the same time, but otherwise its great. I'd recommend the schnitzel or calamari!

I'm going to be really honest with this review. Bli Bli castle is a total rip off. We visited in January. 3 adults, 3 kids. It is overpriced and there is nothing to do. We've been to real castles in the UK and didnt expect the same, but we thought it might have some atmosphere. They offer you dress up clothes, and then your expected to just walk around the castle (empty run down dusty old building with a view of the dirty yard behind). There is a freaky doll museum at the back...not quite sure what that has to do with castles. We expected something like Old Sydney Town used to be, with people in costume leading you around, a town cryer, a judge, someone on the rack, loud traditional music, peasants, someone stoking a fire etc etc. Nothing... an empty building that we walked around in 5 minutes, to be greeted by a dusty gift shop and the smell of chip fat at the end. The fact they have a sign at the end advertising weddings is laughable. Come on Sunshine Castle, get your act together, refurb, spend some money on staff and make it worth while for people to visit...you might actually get more customers through the door!

I've yet to have a bad experience at beefys. They'll even cut give you half a product for a child, which some places just wont do. Love the chicken curry pie, potato pie and the pasties! All delicious. About time someone did some decent pastry. Well done beefys...we'll be back when we do our next trip down the motorway!
