I recently moved house with this company and I was very pleased with their professionalism.
I have a lot of old furniture which I inherited and those pieces don’t like to be moved often, hence I was a bit nervous about the move.
The team that did my move was brilliant, nothing was too hard, they did work hard all day long and handled all the difficulties very calmly and didn’t rush it.
I can highly recommend The white glove mover.

Highly recommend. Furniture wrapped for protection during transport. All unwrapped on arrival at new destination. Washing machine connected ready for use as were TVs and refrigerator. All furniture put in correct rooms ready to use. Beds were reassembled.
Cleaners also nightly recommended. The house we left was spotless. Oven, cook top, showers, pantry shelves all immaculate.
Would use this company again.

Amazing service from my initial phone enquiry right through to delivering my furniture. Lee went above and beyond my expectations after the dealings i had with another company. The boys were fantastic and kept me informed whilst they were loading and unloading my belongings. The move was from Werribee to Wodonga, i highly recommend White Glove movers and will definitely use their service again.

We have been using this service to move our things from Melbourne to Geelong and we were very satisfied. We had many valuable pieces of furniture from Europe and they were very careful when moving them. Highly recommend.

Sievwright we’re engaged to 1. Supply packing materials, 2. Provide packing service for five hours and relocate furniture.

1. Cost of materials was $350. Two bundles of boxes (10 per bundle) plus some loose boxes were never used (estimate this to be approx 40-50% of supplied materials.). The company would not reimburse for over supply of materials or for any boxes they collect after you have unpacked.

2. Paid for a packer for 5 hours. After 5 hours the kitchen had been packed and some frames wrapped. As this was the day before the move this meant we needed to complete the packing for the remainder of the house by the next day when the truck was to arrive.

3. Removalists did a great job of disassembly and reassembly and were careful in the way they managed the furniture. The guys were friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of items left behind that we needed to move.

Overall I liked the way they managed the furniture but don’t consider they offered value for money for their packing service or materials. Also their offer is based on a single truck delivery not on moving all items in the house.

Approximate cost: $2300

Extremely expensive. The moving guys & women who packed were good, but the office staff are not friendly & what we were initially quoted, more than doubled by the time we had moved.
Would I use them again? Def not. Very very over priced.

After hearing these guys advertised on 3AW, I thought I would give them a call. I requested someone to come out a few months in advance (trying to be prepared) to assess our home, and give us a quote for packing and moving, and possible unpack at the other side.

On the day, just before the appointment time, I received a call from the owner saying that he was running late, and couldn't find the place, so wasn't coming. Instead, he gave me a quote on the phone saying he was experienced, and just knew what we needed and what it would cost. I did not find this satisfactory given he didn't really ask many questions about our home/contents on which to base that decision. Plus, it was quite expensive.

So, a couple months down the track I decide to make another quotation booking (benefit of doubt), and a lady comes out. Not only did she smell of cigarettes, her clothing was rather inappropriate (short tight black dress). It seemed to me that she had no idea what she was talking about either (ie- she asks, what do you call that piece of furniture?), and didn't really absorb the answers I was giving her as she repeated the questions over and over again.

At the end of the visit she asks ME how many trucks I think I will need! Isn't that the whole point of them coming out?!?!

In the week that followed the quoting was erratic, and seemed to be based on what they thought would get my business, rather that quoting on need/requirements.

I will never call them again, and hardly consider them White Glove Movers. I would rather pack and move myself than use them. Sorry Sievwright, but it's 100% true.
