Sat nite...Buffet dinner..$27pp..There were six of us friends...if u like Sri Lankan food, u will enjoy the buffet, beef curry, chicken curry, potato curry, cauliflower with cashews, roti, spicy meat balls, spicy beans, 12 types of sambal, Jackfruit salad & fruit salad & juggery for dessert...Beautiful food..u can also order from the menu. Licensed & BYO wine ($2pp corkage) Lovely casual atmosphere, brick walls, polished floorboards. Restaurant full so that's an indication of a popular place. Service not too bad - I only say that bcoz we had to ask for a lot of things that should be automatic...eg..taking the wine in the beginning, offer to open wine, ice bucket, champagne flutes, etc..
However, food was good, company was too...so maybe can be forgiven..although I only forgive once...let's hope they get it right next time.
Love, love, love it! The buffet option - incredible. You get to try everything and it's totally worth it. If you've never had Sri Lankan food before, this is the perfect introduction.
I don't even know where to start... the chicken curry, the eggplant, the spicy potato... everything is delicious. Maybe a bit hot for those who are a bit sensitive, but I just devoured everything on my plate and went back for more.
Definitely recommend everyone to try it out.
Service was fantastic.
We went on a Saturday night and got a table, but no reflection on the restaurant. We were greeted at the door by a charming waitress who explained about the option of the buffet. As we had never eaten Sri Lankan food before, we thought this a good option. The food was delicious and the buffet allowed us to try all sorts of different meals. Highly recommended.
Approximate cost: $25
