Beautiful atmostphere and decor, not what you'd expect in the area so a lovely suprise. Service staff are just so attentive and lovely. Food is magnificent, they do some wonderful family recipies that you won't find anywhere else. Also love the curry puffs, my favourite! Highly, highly recommend, also worth the travel even if you are not local, we go back every year even though we don't live around Preston anymore.

We got take away from here. I had the massamam beef and asked for coconut rice to go with it. The beef was extremely tough and chewy, not what I'd expect from slow cooking. The coconut rice was the most disappointing, you could see where they'd tipped the coconut into the existing rice, into the middle of the container. I had to mix it myself to work the flavour through it, and even then the flavour was average.
Would not eat here again, particularly after expecting higher quality as its not cheap at all.

Food is really yummy, a bit expensive but the meals are quite large. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, great decorations. Everything is fresh and delicious, I'd recommend going there is you want something a bit nicer than average takeaway but don't want to compromise food quality.

Every time i come here I'm always surprised at the freshness and consistency. I forget that I'm in Preston ! I found the food better than most places in Thailand let alone Melbourne. Probably because of the better quality ingredients available here. The chef has a family history of restaurants in Melbourne and the experiance shows through.

An oasis in the local food landscape! We order pick up from Silk Thai nearly every weekend and we have tried many many dishes, finding them all fantastic. Food is usually ready for pick up within 20 mins even on busy nights. Eating in is also a positive experience. Food is always fresh and interesting.

At last a decent Thai restaurant opens in Preston. Very nicely finished, a very good menu and the food is great! We have eaten in a couple of times and the service has been very good. Take away has been fast and efficient.
