Highly recommend this service. They communicate very well and allocated us fantastic cleaners. Once you have a cleaner allocated you can deal with them directly, but the broader company is there to allocate a new cleaner one finishes up for any reason, therefore they do all the hard work of finding someone new, which is great. The cleaners they have allocated to us have been excellent, so clearly Absolute Domestics are screening well. Prices also very reasonable. Very happy continuing customer.

Rude service received from head [redacted due to personal identifier] today (I am a repeat supermarket customer over many years and recognise the staff member as the main [redacted due to personal identifier] in Cafe, my husband is also a daily cafe goer from nearby business).

Today I was standing socially distanced in line when a customer barged in in front of me. I asked the customer where the line was thinking he would realise he had jumped in front. The customer responded in a rude and arrogant manner “what line?”.

The [redacted due to personal identifier] saw and heard this interaction as it was right in front of him and quite rightly pointed out there was also another man waiting who he served. I had no problem with this, as I thought the other customer was waiting after being served and stood aside once I realised, just as the other customer should have done for me one he realised, however then the head [redacted due to personal identifier] went on to wink and smile at the person who barged in and had been verbally aggressive to me, asked the other customer if he wanted his pie (clearly he was a known regular at cafe) and served him in front of me.

When I explained how rude I thought all this was the head [redacted due to personal identifier] became defensive, rude and argumentative rather than apologising. I experienced that he was deliberately being disrespectful to me in favour of a rude and obnoxious regular.

I hope the cost of that customers regular pies is worth the lost revenue in future years of my grocery shopping. Even though the [redacted due to personal identifier] may not have recognised me by face surely whether a new or regular customer I deserve to be treated respectfully.

I understand if a mistake had been made, however the [redacted due to personal identifier] clearly saw the other customer barging in and heard him make a rude comment to me (otherwise why did he point out the other person waiting) and the head [redacted due to personal identifier] just condoned this and went on to be defensive, dismissive and disrespectful toward me himself.

It made me feel angry and humiliated. When I complained about this to my husband who came up, the [redacted due to personal identifier] then blatantly lied and said the other customer was first. That lie was just disgraceful after everything else. An apology from the [redacted due to personal identifier] to me at the time would have been more appropriate. However I felt he was being deliberately passive aggressive on top of the other customer being blatantly aggressive and as I said, then lying about it is disgusting. Wonder if this the sort of behaviour toward (women? Unknown customer’s?) that is considered acceptable at the cafe part of this business?

This restaurant is worth the visit even if you are not local. Authentic northern Thai food, family run, wonderful hospitality and delicious dishes you can’t get at just any restaurant. Many mild dishes but if you like authentic chilli dishes you can get them here. Don’t worry, chilli rating on menu will help you decide. The crispy pork hock is deliciously decadent and wonderful for sharing. My favourite dish is the prawn and cashew stir fry with chilli jam, oh and the mango sticky rice dessert, and the traditional Thai ice tea made fresh. Grab a bag of home made crispy pork crackle on the way out! You must go here. The best thing about this restaurant, its truly word of mouth, once you have been there you will be telling everyone about it!

Very unassuming little restaurant at Clarinda Park shops, but don’t be fooled, the food here is traditional Indian street food with more standard Indian restaurant dishes as well. We took our Anglo-Indian mother here and she was so delighted with some of the foods she hasn’t seen since her youth in India like Pani Puri. Highly recommend the spinach pakoras and the lamb rogan josh. One star off only due to a little bit of inconsistency in the flavouring, sometimes wonderfully fragrant and spicy, at other times a little more bland. But overall a wonderful little gem, highly recommend.

One of our favourite cafes in area. High quality food and delicious coffee blends. Highly recommend the mushroom trio for brunch, delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive. I once had an overdone potato Rosti here (unusual here, usually consistently excellent!), once pointed out the staff were so apologetic and replaced the meal without me asking and gave me a free chai latte. Upshot, they care about their high quality food and service and their customers. At times they also have local art on the walls, I enjoy that. The venue itself is a converted old cottage, rather unassuming but makes for a relaxed communal feel. I just love this place.

Oh my goodness, what a lovely find. Cafe is part of hydroponic veggie/herb complex and delightful menu with fresh fresh fresh produce. Shared breakfast tower is amazing. The eggs Benedict with fresh asparagus superb. And the vanilla slice... just WOW! I dare you to try and walk out without buying some fresh veg and herbs to take home with you, and perhaps another vanilla slice for later.......

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I get SNS nails here that are excellent quality with a great choice of colours. You never feel rushed here and it is a very clean and hygienic shop. Bookings can be made ahead so you don’t have to wait, especially at peak holiday times.

Quality local hairdressers. Very friendly and skilled staff. My hair is not easy to colour and they have been able to get it just right! The thumping sounds from the gym above is little unexpected but doesn’t detract from the overall atmosphere which is relaxing and friendly. Also they use quality products and don’t rush you, yet prices are much more reasonable than other hairdressers I have tried. Highly recommend.
