Simple Separation

We both initially had separate lawyers, and 4months in not getting anywhere and with expensive hourly rates. A mutual friend told us about this company. We moved to them and found their process to be thorough, fair and supportive. We needed some mediation but they helped us reach agreement and we were done within about 3 months. Fixed fee, great process and a great alternative to the usual pathway.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Simple separation made a difficult time in my life so much worse and caused so much added stress. They dragged out the process months over the given time frame, almost causing me to miss my settlement date, double booked appointments, messed up balance sheets and final drafts several times and were never able to be contacted other than email, which they took ages to respond to. Poor communication and completely unprofessional. The whole process of dealing with them was a complete nightmare that I would not wish upon anyone.

Our mediation was drawn out over 2 years, one mediator absented themselves from the case without anyone letting us know and meaning that we had to stay from scratch. The legal advice I received was incomplete (maybe sloppy work, maybe intentional omission of information) Overall experience added much salt to my wounds, made for an unfair outcome which left me with much less than legal opinion indicated as well as 10-15 years of financial responsibility for my abusive ex. No replies received from follow up emails. I strongly recommend against this provider.

The separation was not simple. The process was long winded. We were not suited to mediation as we were not amicable but they went ahead took our money and disclosed information therefore the process was flawed. I complained to Christina never received a response and was ignored. They were meant to do a child arrangement that took a longtime to process so we did our own. We paid for a service we never received. Don’t waste your money not a professional organisation.
