The only sushi train in Glenelg I know.
The people that run it are Japanese so you're guaranteed that what they make has at least got Japanese influence. There are a variety of dishes that go round and round on the train. So if you see something that has gone around at least twice then it's not a popular dish. Thankfully there aren't too many of them like that.
They are competing with a couple of large restaurants next door but they're holding their own.

The freshness and variety of food is fantastic. Ask for what you want and watch it being made. Excellent value for money. And you simply have to finish the meal off with their Peach & Cream Meringue dessert ... it's to die for!
A good little place to get sushi on Jetty Road in Glenelg. The sushi is fresh and service is good. It is also well priced, making it an enjoyable place to eat
My family and I love sushi and the train makes it fun for my kids they love watching the sushi go around and picking something off the train. Sushi is always very fresh and delicious service is excellent.
An absolutely awesome dining experience.
Have gone here for dinner once and for lunch heaps of times... but I think this is usually more a lunch venue as there is limited seating at tables - the restaurant's main focus is the huge sushi train containing around 100 different items to choose from.
When you arrive, you are given a menu that shows all of the different choices - you then sit down and then watch the little plates of sushi etc go around until you see one that takes your fancy. If you are after something in particular that is not on the train, then you just ask the chefs who are located in the centre of the train always cooking up fresh dishes - the chefs are always cheerful and smiley and happy to whip up whatever you want.
The food is always ultra fresh, perfectly presented and extremely tasty!
It can be a bit costly if you want to eat 3-4 dishes each (usually roughly $4-$7 per plate by memory) and also have some drinks, but definitely worth the trip and I will definitely be going (many times!) again!
Approximate cost: $6
went with a friend late at night so the selection of sushi going around on the train wasnt large but the staff were more than happy to take orders. the sushi was lovely and the range was diverse. we later found out that not one of the staff was japanese, we thought this was quite funny
HAVE BEEN HERE ONCE AND CANT WAIT TO GO AGAIN. THEY OFFER SOME SUSHI DISHES I HAVENT SEEN ANY WHERE ELSE. BE WARNED. GO FOR DINNER AND YOU COULD EASILY END UP SPENDING $40-$50 PER PERSON INC DRINKS. THE SAYING YOU EAT WITH YOUR EYES IS TRUE HERE. YOU DONT REALISE YOU'VE OVER EATEN UNTIL YOU GET UP. ON A SATURDAY NIGHT ITS MORE ORDER FROM THE PICTURED MENU THAN GETTING ANYTHING OFF THE REVOLVING TABLE. YOU'LL STARVE IF YOU WAIT FOR FOOD TO COME TO YOU. YOU JUST HAVE TO ORDER THE PRAWN SUSHI THAT COMES LOOKING LIKE AN ICECRAM CONE ON A STAND. SIMPLY GORGEOUS
As lovers of Japanese food, my 12yo Son and I keep going back to this restaurant. There is a good variety of food that is always fresh. You can request items from the menu or use the sushi train.
Whilst a little more expensive than the other sushi train type restaurants, this ones quality is far superior. THe sushi tastes fresh and there is a great variety on the menu. One of my favourite places to eat!
A fantastic sushi eat-in experience. Just sit back and pick whatever sushi dish you like from the ongoing conveyer belt. The separate hot meals are highly recommended too, which are both affordable and filling.
