Singapore Hawker Chinese Foods

Do not go here if you want a quiet romantic meal with your beloved. Very unimpressive decor and atmosphere. Table will probably need wiping down again. Food is quite good though, and cheap - thus why it has become so popular. A good feed!

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a craving for South East Asian/Singaporean food. I had the Yong Tau Fu (stuffed brinjal, capcicum, tofu, etc with fish paste) Noodles with clear soup and it was really good. The next time I would try Yong Tau Fu Laksa. My partner had the duck noodle soup and he loved it. The noodles and broth were flavoursome (more flavoursome than the one I had) and is similar to the noodles and broth for wonton noodles. Duck pieces (served bone-in) was served in a delicious gravy.

Good value for money.
I would go back again, hopefully soon!

Amazing flavorful food. Ordered chilly pepper rind which was good, fried soft shell crab which was awesome, and fish head curry which was good. One of the best Singaporean / Chinese dining experience in Perth.

The oldest restaurant on collins road, could do we a make over, and new tables and chairs. Very rarely do we go here if the other restaurants are available. Have had some good meals, and have had some not so good ones. Hit and miss

About 2 weeks ago my family went to this restaurant to celebrate a Birthday. It was the first time we'd been and there were literally lines of people at the door waiting to come in to eat. As soon as someone left there was another group led through to their table. The restaurant was small and noisy and the service took a while, but the food was great! It was uncomfortable sitting at a table by the window with people watching you eat and waiting for you to leave.
