I actually went for lunch. Had the wagyu steak sandwich with swiss cheese and potatoes. This dish was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. The place is frequented by many people and is an awesome place for grabbing a bite.
Would definitely go back and get a coffee next time as well. The brew smelled wonderful

Delicious and extensive lunch menu, with coffee, muffins and cakes still available. Service was quick and the waiter was knowledgeable about the food.

Approximate cost: $15

Great coffee! I come here especially for the cold drip coffee, which you can get from the cafe section (not the takeaway area). Really friendly waitstaff who are all up for a chat, especially about the coffee. Coffee a little expensive, but worth what little extra it costs to know it'll be that good.

A few friends of mine recommended coffee from here , so I came and grabbed a take away cappuccino as well as a freshly baked blueberry muffin with cream cheese and fresh blueberries on top ($5). The coffee is good, nice smooth blend that's easy to drink.

It's a nice cosy place to grab lunch or coffee on the go. Next time I'm coming to dine in and grabbing the banana bread with that coffee butter ($5.50) I'd seen a fellow diner order).

The service is quick , friendly and didn't take long for my order to be ready!

After reading and hearing many rave reviews, I made my way down to this reputed coffee "mecca" for a great latte, some great beans for home and advice, and came away with one of the three. The actual cafe is cosy, stylish and well staffed, but the guy who served me seemed somewhat inexperienced. I said I wanted some coffee for home and he hesitated before saying "Um...well...I guess you could get the beans we're using today on the espresso machine", without asking anything about what I was going to use it for or the kind of roast I liked. I then told him it was for an espresso machine, and he said "Um...yeah....that would be okay then", turned around and came back with a bag of ground beans. For a place that is renowned for being "coffee obsessed" it all seemed a bit vague, and there were several other staff members he could have asked if he was unsure. When I got the beans home the grind was fairly coarse and, although it has a pleasant taste, didn't make a great coffee. That being said, the latte I got (made by another staff member) was well made; not exceptional but nice. I would return to Single Origin for a coffee, or to try the food, if I was in the neighborhood, but won't be going out of my way.
