Given my experience with dinning out, I review Sizzler in Toowong 3.5 stars in overall. It was my first time at Sizzler when I tasted salad bar. Considering the cost of $25 per a person for limited entrees, a good variety of salads and limited deserts, you get what you sort of expect. I must admit, I liked waitering staff in Sizzler Toowong as they did a great job since we entered till we left.

I cannot lie about my disappointment with meat in salads...chicken salad contained chicken mince - tiny bits of chicken all over it which I would not be ashamed of calling chicken salad if I was a cook. On the other side, you could see prawns in prawn salad. I obviously did not taste the entire range of salads and dishes, however, what I tasted was nice otherwise...apart from steamed broccoli that was so lightly steamed that was enriched with fresh green colour but was very hard (too crunchy). I could not help myself not having spinach salad which turned up to be very different from what I have known. It contained fresh spinach, dried cranberries, shredded almonds and some more likely sweet dressing. For the dressing your taste buts were deceived so I missed the taste of raw spinach. [it might have been just me as I enjoy fresh spinach on its own very much too and am very perceptive about its nutty flavour].

I tasted their soft ice-cream but did not like it much. It was like Homebrand ice-cream from Woollies or Coles pushed through a tube. I did like apple crumble that I had not had for ages and love it.

And as you do, I overate! :(

I think I can imagine myself going back there but very rarely. I prefer to enjoy nicer meal and not tend to eat over the top as I do in buffet.

was attracted to this restaurant because of their set lunch which if i remembered correctly was 7.99. However, the portion was really small for that menu and i definitely needed to get second rounds.

i have been here with my family and i have to say its a little difficult to get to if your driving as you have to enter shopping centre carpark, find a spot and then walk to the restaurant. easier by train as it is just opposite the station entrance. the service is a little slow while dining but when the waiters come over to you they ask if your meal was delicious when you are in the middle chewing your first bite which is annoying. the food is ok however my last malibu chicken was burnt here.

Sizzler had a bad time of it a while back and has since cleaned up its act. Although the salad bar range has decreased the service is excellent-friendly and fast. Families are welcome here
and the food is great

Sizzler is really great value for money, the service is always quick and staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is great, we mainly get the salad bar, and always look forward to their great deserts :)

The new look matches the quality of the food, very warm & inviting, & fresh. Love the all you can eat salads & deserts - it's so affordable & a great place to take the whole family.

After the refurbishment of the entire restaurant it is very modern and relaxing. Along with its appearance the foods quality has also improved. It's a great place to go for a cheap lunch with friends, with a great selection of food.

the food was good as always, always enjoy it here. consistent. Went here for xmas lunch 2006, was exceptional food and atmosphere, very suprised indeed

I have had a lot of great experiences at Sizzler. Can't go wrong with all you can eat salad bar and desert bar. great stakes and sea food meals and on Sundays mornings they do all you can eat breakfast.
