Caxton Legal Centre is a great community service. I called them recently because I couldn't find any information on the legal aspect of car deposit. They assigned me a lawyer & set up an appointment over the phone (because I only had an appointment). They only do appointments at certain times, so ring ahead. It's a great free community service.

This review is for Fantasea Adventure Cruising, Airlie Beach QLD

Driving between Townsville & Airlie Beach, every billboard we drove past was trumpeting Fantasea! And loudly! So we went to see what all the fuss was about & now we understand why. Firstly, their front office was set up more like a cafe, with food & drinks (& aircon!) & its service with a smile all the way. They're bright & fun, & their boats are impressive. The reefworld tour will blow your socks off! If you're wearing any!? Bring plenty of money so you can pay for the extras once your out there - like the snorkelling & DVD.

Approximate cost: $600

This review is for Capers At The Beach, Airlie Beach QLD

It's relaxed, casual & a great atmosphere to kick back & socialize. It's set up a bit like a pub inside but the food is definitely up a few notches from that. Dining outside is the best option, it's quiet & breezy, & has a restaurant feel to it. I recommend the vegetarian tart with cous cous - amazing!!

The view is just gorgeous over the lagoon & they have good aussie food on offer. It's a great place to escape the heat & have a relaxing lunch by the lagoon. The service is fast & the prices are decent too.

This review is for Lido Ristorante, Glenelg SA

Lido's a perfect spot for a late lunch/ early dinner. Get a spot outside with the heaters on overlooking the sunset out at sea. The food is great, especially their pasta dishes, but the staff can sometimes be a bit slack getting to your table so be prepared to stamp your foot to get their attention!

This review is for The Boat Shed, Kuluin QLD

Bring your favourite book & set yourself up under the beautiful tree. The boat shed has set up huge recliner lounges at the foot of the tree, so there's plenty of room for everyone! It overlooks Cotton Tree park, the river & the sea. The view is incredible & the staff will wait on you & keep the hot chocolates! This place is magical, & it's all about the tree! The restaurant is also fantastic, but you need to book ahead because its popular.

This review is for Lorne Theatre, Lorne VIC

When you step into Lorne theatre, you step back in time... They have little admit one tickets that the ticket master takes, the theatre is beautiful & old, & there's so much character in here. You pretty much have the entire theatre to yourselves too because its huge! The seats are uncomfortable but they're antique so they fit with the theme!

This review is for Marion Bowland, Marion SA

verified email - 18 Nov 2009

Marion bowland is a lot of fun! It feels a bit like a teenage disco but there's a great atmosphere in here. The shoes are dorky, but there's nothing new there! The the food here is good, & it's really cheap. It's a great place to go with friends to have a feed & play a game before catching a movie upstairs at Great Union.

This review is for Sealink Kangaroo Island Ferries, Adelaide SA

verified email - 18 Nov 2009

With Sealink you can ferry your car on the boat & it's decked out with TV's & a cafe - not that you'll need them. It only takes about an hour to get there & you can sit inside in the warm & look out the window at the sea or go out on the deck. When we were coming into Penneshaw there were penguins jumping out of the water near the boat. It was magical! When we docked, we just got in our car & literally drove off the ramp!

Rob is an excellent electrician. He's friendly & will always fit you in no matter how busy he is. Also he is very handy so if he sees a problem while he's there, he'll happily fix it to do the job properly.
