Brilliant opportunities for kids of all ages to learn and like skating. Our two grandchildren aged 10 and 8 enjoyed a good two hours of fun and skill-building. Come on grandparents, take your kids. They will enjoy it!!

Approximate cost: $20

Wow, its been ALONG time since I have been here. The place has had a huge makeover with big windows letting light into the place. There is a nice are to sit and eat now, there was plenty of food available to purchase. The staff are friendly and helped when I wasn't sure of my child's foot size. A great fun place that I will be returning to soon.

I booked this for our Christmas breakup party because it's so much fun! Good hot food, FRESH! Great music the latest and the old hits too, party lights and helpful staff to show you the way. Can't wait! I love that its not just for kids here too, we weren't the only Christmas party booked either

Best fun EVER! Now I'm...well... let's say over 40.... and my partner and I decided to go and be big kids. Skating!! Fun!! Well, it really is until you realise you are OLD and not as co-ordinated as you once were. haha. A couple of 'oopsies' but we had so much fun!

There were people of all ages, and the staff were very nice and tried very hard not to laugh at us!

Love Skaterz! I decided it was time to head back to my second childhood and go skating, thinking you never forget. WELL - I'd like to thank the young man in the fluoro vest for NOT laughing too hard when he came to see if I was ok after I fell in the MOST spectacular fashion. lol.

Really good fun. A lot dearer than when I was a teen, but the enjoyment is worth it!

Wonderful staff, very helpful. I've been going for years and everyone is always very friendly. Great for kids (big and small) I'd definitely recommend getting some pads to stop painful bumps and bruises.

I go there every Friday with my besties we have so much fun. I've Ben going for about a year and improved so much. The Starr are wonderful and always willing to help. It is a bit costly but worth it. They have plenty to offer at the canteen and the wait for service is short.

You have a large area to skate which mean when it dose get crowded its still not hard to skate. They offer party's, lessons and you can hire out the place and have a privet party.

Lessons happen on separate nights to free skate but u are separated in to different age groups and they will move you around if nesersery. I only started lessons recently and my friends have already noticed the difference in my technique. The do roller durby and inline speed skating lessons.

If you rock up to one of the open sessions and u can't skate there are people skating round in neon jackets to help u and help people who fall.

My girls love this place. It caters well to different ages too and I like the fact that they have games added to it for different groups. For example for the under 12 girls they have a game to see who can skate the fastest etc.

I also like the fact that they give out little prizes to those who win, it could be a $4 voucher to buy any food in their premises and we've even got a buy 1 entry get another entry free once so that was a big bonus! It's little stuffs but those are the little things that the kids like and makes them coming back for more.

At the end of the session there is always some dancing to some music and my little one loved the chicken dance song which they once played.

It is a little pricey at @$13 for kids 6years and above and you are restricted to a time session but overall a good place to go especially on rainy or cold days.

I asked my 9 year old daughter what she thought of skaterz and this is what she said: "I LOVE SKATERZ I really like the games, the music and it is my favourite thing to do in the holidays"

It is a very well run centre with plenty of support in learning to skate and a nice family feel. There is basic food, hot chips, icecreams, coffee etc and tables to sit at while the kids do their thing. There is a section for party groups, not sure of party prices. Their website has all the session times (which are different in term times versus school holidays) and prices.

Good old fashioned family fun, worth giving it a try.
