I eat here at least once a month often with friends. We enjoy the coffee and the great service. In the morning I usually have the caramelised french toast although a bit more expensive than others I am happy to pay the extra for the flavours of this dish. I also like the season changing menu for lunch and dinner. It can get a bit noisy inside as many customers come for take away coffee and they really have nowhere away from the diners to wait. Sketches have a lovely courtyard and a covered and heated area outside. An added bonus for a friend of mine is that they can provide gluten free dishes and in a small kitchen that is not easy.

As the name suggests, there are artworks adorning the walls. Excellent customer service and the dinner I had was amazing.
I will never forget the crème brulee I had for dessert, it was to die for, the best I have ever had.
Am looking forward to high tea there in a few weeks time, something they have recently introduced.
The restaurant is small, however ambient and there is also a rear courtyard. Become a member and receive discounts on your birthday and other specials.

I have taken many people for brunch over the last few years and always had an enjoyable time. The food is always top notch, the staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Highly recommended

Just had brekky last week at this cafe, food was great and service was excellent ! It's a relatively small cafe, but clean and bright.
Big breakfast was just alright. We liked breakfast bruschetta, seafood spaghetti, caramelised french toast and very aromatic chai latte.
Will go back again for dinner soon :)

I have been going to Sketches for many years usually once a week for lunch. The cafe is very clean and the service is excellent. The lunch menu has a lot of my favorites and the dinner menu is very innovative. I Will continue to eat there.

We tried sketches 5 times and each time was dissapointed. All our friends had been raving about it so we kept trying. have not been back there in the last few months but still feel ripped off. Coffee was disgusting everytime, it tasted like they use that froth top milk instead of normal milk, we were over charged all 5 times and we would have to keep going over and over the bill to finally aggree. The food overall was average but the last time we went I had so much egg shell in my scrambeled eggs I was neally sick. Very noisie inside and if it's hot and your outside there was always wasps. Never going back.

I have been to the cafe for a few times as I worked nearby here. I have tried the eggs benedict and its pretty good. However i think the price can be a bit lower to matches the price of the normal casual cafe. The coffee is so-so

Nice cafe with lots of locals rolling up for lunch and dinner I guess (was not there for dinner). Only small and it does get noisy but food is good and the coffee is hot, none of this luke warm rubbish. Menu items are basic but some nice exotic items too, you can take granny or the kids there and they will be happy.

Outside area looks good on a warm day but I would say you need to book that early on.

Approximate cost: $17
