We went as a group from Church and the Minister was quite dubious about going up to the top, as he's not to fond of heights. But he was glad he did and we all enjoyed the experience. The views were great and afterwards we all went for a coffee. We all really enjoyed going there.

I must admit with a phobia of heights the idea of going up here scared the crap out of me but getting up there my fears were a distant memory the views were stunning,

Great view at the top!
Spent a good hour up here with the kids. Lots of little facts to discover.
Only disappointment was the movie was SO hard to hear. Perhaps they can look at either turning up the volume or putting in a wall to block out some of the noise.

A great experience you have to enjoy at many times during the day to get the best scenery. Cameras ready. Unfortunately the windows on the obs deck need a good clean. Our photos have all the marks and drips from the windows on them. Cost is $22 per adult and well worth it. The ticket can be sued as many times as you like over 2 weeks.we went 3 times on our 4 day stay at various hours. We did miss a brilliant photo op tho.whilst dining for lunch a fighter jet flew over the coast ,water below us. Such a great pic we missed but it was a momentus viewing i can tell you, seeing that jet flying below the obs deck was amazing. You can spend a fair bit of time here and not notice it slip away. The sunset on a clear day is breath taking, the beach and other buildings lit up,at night is wonderful. Take the kids take nanna ,not to be missed

Approximate cost: $22

I thoroughly enjoyed reaching the top of the Q1 Resort and observing the breathtaking 360 degree views of the Gold Coast from the observation deck. The general admission price for an adult was definitely worth it being $21.00 adult, $12.50 child, $17.00 pensioner and family pass of $54.50. The Seventy 7 Skypoint Cafe & Bar is located perfectly for breakfast, all-day dining and evenings if you are searching to wet your appetite. Looking forward in the future to doing the highest external building Skypoint Climb.

What a breathtaking experience, what an awesome view. The Skypoint Observation Deck is a frightening 230 meters from street level and is 77 levels high. One of the fastest lifts in the world catapults you up to the 77th level in just 43 seconds and you hardly feel a thing. My wife has a great fear of heights and was still shaking about ten minutes after reaching the top but she soon settled down to enjoy the 360 degree, uninterrupted view of the Gold Coast and Hinterland and other surroundings. Whilst at the top one can partake in a meal or just a leisurely coffee while relaxing and taking in the outstanding view. Around the edges of the deck on the floor you will see the direction and the distances of some well known destinations, for example Tokyo, Vancouver and the South Pole to mention a few. You will actually feel more when taking off and landing in an aeroplane than you will being sky-rocketed up the centre of the Q1 building to the Skypoint Observation Deck. A truly unforgettable experience, a breathtaking view and a heart-stopping and awesome sensation being at the highest point of the Gold Coast. Don't miss it.

For anyone wishing to view the Gold Coast area, this is a must! Wow! Full 360 deg views are fantastic for photographers whether amateur or professional. The lift took 43 seconds to rise 77 stories and you can watch a tv screen above your head while the lift is taking you up or down. Relax with a meal or a coffee and just sit and look at the view. Highly recommended!

This has the most spectacular view of the Gold Coast. You go from ground floor to floor 77 in 43 seconds, they have a screen on the ceiling of the roof that shows just how fast you are travelling up the lift. Once you step out of the lift and you look out over the ocean you are just amazed by how high up you are and how beautiful it all looks. People with a fear of heights will probably not enjoy this, there are toilets and seats up there so you can sit back and enjoy the view, they also have a cafe and bar so you can enjoy a coffee during the day and if you go back at night you can enjoy a cocktail too. Its a totally different experience and i recommend doing both day and night.
