Smarter Outdoors were recommended by a work colleague and fellow shift worker who had just had roller shutters installed. I have had 3 roller shutters installed to my bedroom and I am very happy with every aspect of dealing with this company. Tiarn in the office is very friendly, professional and organised. My windows were quickly measured and a quote provided. The delays in having the shutters installed were all down to me and my partners work schedules. At no time was I pressured into agreeing an inconvenient installation date and Tiarns’ patience was greatly appreciated. On installation day the installers arrived at the agreed time and approximately 1 hour later the job was complete.
The shutters look great, the remote is so easy to operate and I’m sleeping more soundly.

We contacted Smarter outdoors for a quote on 4 roller shutters. They attended the property and measured and quoted on the spot. We had also contacted another company for a quote. Smarter were way more competitive on their pricing. Two weeks later our new shutters were installed. We were give a great handover by the team who installed the. A great experience from this company. Our friends are now getting their shutters from Smarter outdoors. We are extremely happy with our shutters and the team at Smarter outdoors. Now for a blind on our alfresco!

Great price for roller shutters. I have to say, the Admin lady, Tiarn, is the star of the company. She is a great communicator between client and installer. Tiarn guided me with wifi manual and went through the wifi installation with me. A great asset for Smarter Outdoor to have such a versatile staff. I will definitely recommend Smarter Outdoor to my friends.

I have had three separate installations, combining of three or four shutters each time, twelve shutters in all, over a period of four years, entire house now covered, all remote controlled.

My shutters look great and are effective noise controllers (from aeroplanes).

I contacted Smarter Outdoors after a home invasion and I can't recommend them highly enough. The service from every touch point was excellent, and very caring. I had the whole house done, and am very happy with the product and the way that the installation team were so polite and very tidy. Be sure to give them a call!

The workers arrived on time and the two shutter where installed in just under an hour. They did a wonderful job, very clean and efficient. Shutters fit beautifully and look really good. I was able to choose the colour I wanted to match my roof colour and also was able to choose to have them installed inside or outside the window frame, I chose outside for maximum cover from the sun and heat in summer. I would definitely recommend this company as my daughter recommended them after having shutter fitted at her home last year.

We got a quote within a week. Pricing was very good so we decided to do it. We had the finish product installed within 12 days. absolutely no mess left behind which really made me happy.

I would strongly recommend getting a quote from Smarter Outdoors. We had 3 Window Shutters installed.

They were able to do Estimate over email or call if you give them your dimentions which some company's refuse to do so.

There was No pressure sales tactics during the quote measure.

We found the quote to be very competitive in comparison to 4 other companies.

The only fault was the Web site said 10 day install garuntee. But was advised ny admi about the 3 week wait due to covid back log delays.

The Installers were fast and Clean.

But By Far the constant communication and professionalism from Jonine was what encouraged us to choose Smarter Outdoors

Smarter Outdoors are excellent. I already had shutters at the front from OZShut, but needed some for the back, so was shopping around. I visited Smarter Outdoors' new premises in Wangara (impressive) and took my dimensions of the windows. They gave me a quote straight away, which was very competitive, and no sales pressure at all.
They offered me remote control for the shutters and wifi and the ability to control all shutters from one button (which has turned out to be so great). I can now open or close the shutters from anywhere in the world!
I ordered 5 shutters, they made the rollers in a few weeks, texted me an install date upfront and they turned up as promised and on-time, with a heads-up call 30 mins before arrival.
Installation only took about 1.5 to 2hrs for all 5 and they were curteous and very neat, cleaned up after with no mess. Install quality was really good.
The shutters are a lot quieter than the OzShut ones too, I wish I had found these guys when I did the front ones!!
Very impressed with Smarter Outdoors, highly recommended.
