Charges for most expensive parts but puts on the cheapest possible. My brakes constantly squeal. My car also sat out the front of his workshop for 3 months and he never bothered to fix the car. Avoid at all costs if you care for your car

I have been taking our cars to Mark and the team for years. He offers a great service and you feel he is looking after you. In my view he offers great value for money.

I took my car to Mark for the first time this week and was extremely happy with his service.

A Subaru dealership had recommended numerous repairs totaling almost $800, most of which seemed unnecessary and overpriced. I went to Mark for a second opinion based on the great reviews on this site.

As a relatively new driver and female, I'm an easy target for mechanics, but Mark was kind, honest, helpful, flexible, and efficient. He looked over my car the same day and identified that only one repair was actually necessary - and he took the time to show me why.

Our old car is on its last legs, and the radiator was overheating. On the basis of two glowing reviews here on WOMOW, I took it to Mark at Smithwill Automotive. It was worth it.

Mark was able to look at the car the next day and found a radiator leak. He called to tell me that it would cost around $300 to fix (mostly labour charges) as they would need to remove the manifold to replace rusted welsh plug.s I told him to go ahead, but he called back later to say that they had noted some other issues with the car which may mean that there are problems with the head gasket. As he was concerned about having to charge so much if there was potentially a bigger problem, he suggested a temporary fix instead. He could have gone ahead and fixed the problem and charged us $300, but he went the extra mile in customer service. Thanks Mark!
